Daily Backest results JANUARY,FEBRUARY ,MARCH and APRIL 2016..Only Maximum and minimum pips were recorded..Maybe someone can put this into perspective.

suffix demo 324 pips
regular demo 85 pips

I was down or break even for most of the day but didn't get stopped out, so ran some errands, came back and decided to close out with a profit as opposed to closing out at a set time.

I might have missed a post relating to this on the thread, but there seems to be a mixture of some of us (like me), 1. closing out when we have an acceptable profit and 2. those who close out at a fixed time, or 3. a mixture of both.

So basically what i'm trying to ferret out here is, are we seeking to have a more automated system with little trader input, except some monitoring from time to time, or a more conditional system with frequent trader input insofar as when to exit a trade? Personally, I prefer the automated route, but whatever makes the most pips is what counts in the end, right?

If you look at his settings there is "False" at all TF...so practically the indicator is not showing signals based on any time frame, I guess is just a default state, if no input suggest ALL buy...just my thought...

Update for today. On my daily (false/true setting 9 GMT open) I hit the trailing lock profit for 78 pips. Will look at loosening the take profit to get more profit. My next one is still going at 268 pips positive to bring me to 346 pips so far for today. I have a TP of 300 set on this last trade (false/false 9 GMT open).

Total for the day: 346 (still running)
Total for yesterday: 357
Total for week: 693 (so far)

I am not sure, maybe there is an error in the graphs, or testing method, if this is daily basket, lets say we have 12 or 16 pairs a -2600 pips means every pair of the 12 basket gone against us with 200pips on average in just few hours..it's very hard to believe, maybe high impact news, or?

Now, if we look up a random ALL 28 pairs buy can bring +3000 in 2 days -admir post, so everything is possible, but in 12 hours and 12-16 pairs I guess is a bit odd from my side..

Maybe I can back test this year and compare the demo forward with back-testing to see if it's close enough.

Yes FALSE FALSE because its easier to backtest this setting since the signal does not change during the week unlike the other settings whose signals change during the week..If someone can come up with a way to backtest the other settings like FALSE TRUE , TRUE TRUE and TRUE FALSE , that would be great..It will provide us with enough data to determine which of the settings work best.

Started trading with 4 baskets.
TP: 400
SL: 250

I manually closed contradicted trades of the same pair (it would be awesome if you @xmess7 can make something to prevent the EA's create contradicting trades for the same pair witht he 4 baskets: Please see this post

Hi tzic

From what I understand, you would leave it at 10080, otherwise you might not get many pairs to trade.

Thanks forexpinbar but i think we need more perspective....Where did price go first,second etc.... Did price go negative (its min pips) before positive (max pips), or did price go positive before going negative? Some are obvious some are not.
