I hope you understand i just want to be constructive, i took your same 5M chart, and always in my imho this 10 pips SL in the correct PRZ is not so small , of course if you want to trade for the next NSL i guess it is not possible in most of case with this 10pips SL. It depends how you want to trade.

On your previous example you told that with your MM you risk 1% /trade so for 50 pips SL you need 25k$ capital, hope you agree that with an average of 10 pips SL you just need 5K$ capital for the same risk. Of course i understand this doesn't suit to your trading style but this could be another way to trade the same 1 lot size (5$ YM).

Could be interesting to have Mr.Pip sentiment about that ...

Oakham, I think this is not how Mr Pip trade, right? I prefer to follow his style of placing SL.

Of course if you want to be creative. 1 point stop loss also possible. Anything is possible in that sense.

Excuse me for intromission fellas, just dropping my 2 cents here. Mr pips system works on any chart and any timeframe from daily, weekly, 5000 tick charts to the m1, 233 ticks, 30 seconds, 20 tick charts.

Maybe the answer to your MM issue lies on lower timeframes, I know it will be a lot messier but you can still see the fibs, the momentum, the projections, the bar rotations can be difficult but not impossible.

20 tick chart moves way too fast at 9 30am NY? Try other times of the day, markets still moves prior and after the NY session, or maybe not YM but ES or something else.

There are quite different combinations to test, I dont think there is only one index, one timeframe, one MM set of rules, one minimum capital to start. Just gotta have to spend some time looking around, trying and calculating.........

I believe stop placement is critical to profitable trading and that proper stop placement is one of those skill sets that also improves with time. We all love the idea to using small stops and to keep the risk tight however this is not always a possibility. We must understand the dynamics of what order flow you are trading and have a stop that compliments it as well as giving the market the room it needs to allow the trade to develop. Stops are dynamic they go where you feel you analysis has failed you. You will get chopped up with tight stops most of the time only to see you trade working out later.

Hi Damian. Looks like PA is still on a holiday. My shorter term expectation is for a NSH. PA is so slow so I am just playing out my expectation on my non-live account. Going back to your previous videos and thread reading.....

Hi Damien. A quick question. There was a day a few weeks back where you entered short and immediately took a long after taking profit from the short. I don't know if you can still remember. After reading your earlier notes, it seems like you took an aggressive C entry and then took an entry on an ABCD completion pattern. Is your entry these days still the same as you did previously?

I don't remember, I sometimes trade the short term order flow and that sometimes has be taking trades in both directions.
