I've added it to myfxbook thingy but hasn't updated for some reason. See what happens next week and I'll post a link.

I started it from 7.00 am which was the only variation and closed manually when ahead.

Listen there are 137 pages, can forexpinbar or xmess make an update of whats going on at this point?

I tested in the beginning of the thread, when we were doing the weekly basket, then baskets started going very badly and I stopped.

What happend in between, any working configurations?

Reading the back cover of a book will never give you the whole picture ... You have to read the book.

No difference here ... No shortcut if you want to learn something ... Otherwise you will be missing the essential.

Update v36.3

I went ahead and added a comments field to the chart display. Now you can enter your comments of indicator settings and stuff like that for all to see.
NOTE: if you reload the EA the comments will erased and you will need to type them in again.
Also the EA now tells you in the title if you are in Weekly or Daily mode

This version includes the fix to keep the max/min on after the basket has closed

Added the ability for the user to use a range of hours. The user can now select a range that the EA can use to open a basket.
if feature is set to false the EA will use GMTOpenHour. If set to True the EA will use the HourSwing that the user indicates. (XX:xx - XX:xx)

I will be on business travel next week, so no coding just trading. v37 is ready but I have not tested it. If tomorrow I see that it sort of works I will release it for beta testing. It has many changes and additions, aside from the vBasket. This will be the final version. Once it is deemed operational.. I will release the source code and also publish the CCFP_Vanilla_monitor. LOL. That Vanilla EA will only have 4 inputs and will follow the rules as specified on pg1. So in the future you guys can point newbies to the Vanilla version, you may have to tell them how to set it up and to change the lotsize to fit their account sizes but that is it.. The EA will function on it's on.. as was the initial intention of the first version.

Or you can just download v36 and figure out how it works and make adjustments and find what best works for you. After all pg1 already tells u the rules, they are clearly spelled out. You mention "..any working configurations?" but of course... read and you will see who is making profit with the EA right now..

The reasoning of your statement implies that trading necessarily creates earnings which is obviously thoughtless. For many of us, trading is currently creating losses so to answer your question, this is why many of us are still testing.

Would you rather trade live without knowing what you're doing (essentially gambling) or, would you rather polish a system so that consistent returns can first be essentially expected?

Once consistent returns can be essentially be expected, how long do you think it would take to go from 10K to 1000K with compounding and who would win the race at that point? Perhaps you think the person who lost their 10K account due to gambling.

Can you be very specific claudia1?Maybe you didntt understand my initial question..I asked whether someone was using the MTF version the CCFp indicator..Using the MTF version requires that you wait for 1,2,3 or 4 time frames to align with the same signal whether buy or sell before placing an order.You see, its different from how I place my orders because I dont want for alignment of signals in 1,2,3,or 4 timeframes..I just enter the weekly signals..That is why you need to spell out clearly the rules you follow to trade the MTF version of the CCFp-Diff indicator for the benefit of my traders..

Hi FPB,
I used the MTF version way back on the earlier versions and also on V27- have not been doing anything for a while now - been away. I used the MTF version on 1 day and weekly settings (only used 2 time frames) - this reduced the number of trades dramatically but it seemed to be successful enough and the MTF version of the indicator worked fine. I looked for a basket profit of 35 pips per pair so if 5 pairs I would look for 175 pips profit and I used a stop of 2 times profit target. Once profit target was hit I stopped for the week and waited for the next Monday. I do not have any results to publish as the demo I had expired Sorry about that. I used the same settings as the ordinary MTF False False and Level 2 and entered at 8:20 GMT.

Thanks for the update mahoome..I suppose these were your settings of the CCFp-MTF version as seen in screenshots?Please confirm.

Also I am wondering how you managed to trade CCFp-Diff MTF signals with V27 of Xmess EA...Xmess EA V27 opens trades based on specific GMT time and from what I know , the alignment of signals on D1 and W1 in the CCFp-Diff MTF indicator can happen anytime of the day..

Hi again FPB,

The EA places the trades based on what the indicator is showing at the time you have set for entry. If the list changes later it makes no difference, it is just what is showing in the basket at the specified time in my case 8:20GMT.
