Point 3 from your post you are already uncertain about BigE and would rather prefer to use other indicator / method.
That other member know TMS more then the OP and therefore has better the method. Haveing a mindset like that from the beginning why bother at all to learn TMS.

Thanks for all the support and assistance in getting started with this method.

However, it seems that somehow you might have misunderstood parts of my last post.

I had discovered that some members had tweaked the original system to suit their needs. I asked for pointers towards the original system as suggested by Big E so that I could trade using his method. I even asked for ideas about the MT4 platform used, indicators and from your experiences, the best currency pairs.



Pointers towards the currency pairs and the MT4 platform would be highly appreciated.

Thank you all for all the community support and advise.

Changing the matter, I've seen similar claims on other threads where the OP says, he's making around 10 000 pips per week; but he doesn't say, he is actually opening like 100 positions at the same time with yocto lots LOL.

They count the pips as if they were of a single position with a standard lot but they're trading with nano lots, so I think they should call it nano pips not normal pips.

In my opinion, they should use:

1 pip= 10 $
1 Mini pip= 1 $
1 Micro pip= 0.1$
etc....

This is similar to what I said in my first posts in this thread and some people got angry with me.

They claim they want to help newbies by making them follow the rules exactly as they were layed out by eelfranz in the first page but how can they recommend that when none of them is actually successful trading that way?

Right, if your first post in this thread is only to criticise this member's LTE is because you surely have a "long term winning account" with a linked LTE.

If this member blows his account or not, it shouldn't be your business, how will that affect you?

Hi Dempip,
As Tekkies mentioned the original indicators and template are on post #25.
If you are just starting out you should stick to trading the major pairs such as EURUSD, AUSUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY and possibly EURJPY. You'll also need a basic knowledge of Price Action and Support and Resistance as blindly following the instructions in the often quoted post #647 and trading every TDI cross will get you no where.
You can use any broker that provides MT4 but it would be best to pick one with a server time of GMT +3 which most of the bigger brokers have.

If you have been trading TMS for 2 to 3 years and still not making money, its time to ask yourself why.


Too much time is being spent on TDI and Stochastics,
Too little time spent on Price Action and Support/Resistance.
And no time spent on Money Management, Risk Management for entries and exits, When and How to Let Profits Run.
You need to find your WINNING EDGE and the TDI is not in the winning edge equation.

Hi Drewas,

If you read Phx pdf you will notice that he was a basically a Price action trader many time he mentioned that he entered in the trade ever before crossing TDI. He was closing trades based on color change of candle ( which is not a TMS).

Phx was not a pure TMS trader he was giving importance to Support / Resistance , Price Action and pullback reversal candle as well depends on situation.

Trading Made Simple is profitable.

I might not have a big account, don't know how to let profit run, or even know how to apply a decent trailer stop, wipe my account out because I am to stupid to close a losing trade.

What I do know is that when I follow BigE's Trading Made Simple and trade as it is laid out, I constantly get this type of detail report every week. Don't even know what half of the stuff means on that repport. All that matter's is every week I am in profit. Nothing funny only
- TDI cross on H1, H4, D1
- post#647.
- trailer stop.
- leave trade alone.
That is all to it.
You can not get different result if you keep on doing the same over and over.

you didn't follow exactly like Big E. You have about 10 trades per set up.

I did not say everyone cant be profitable. I know many are not profitable in this thread and also those who regularly PM me with questions and telling me they are making losses. I do not know of who those 'plenty of traders have made success of TMS' are. Most of those who started with Big E all have gone on their own ways with add-on to the 5-Method. Just look at member dcginc, he has the most experience those who know him will tell you what he had added to the 5-Method and not TMS. There are others from the pioneer group with Big E. We all know who they are.

I have already mentioned long time ago that I cannot trade TMS like Post#1 for several reasons.
I focus on more Price Action and the use of Support/Resistance PASR more and not just looking at TDI cross for reversal trades.
I also mentioned many times that I am a conservative trader unlike Big E who had a more aggressive approach in taking reversal trades.
It is well known the way Phx62 traded and I will not want to zoom into details of each and everyone of his posted trades charts.
About likica, she also does not trade TMS the way it is laid out. She trades with technical divergence as one of her primary skills.
I only know two other traders who scalp aggressively like Big E and they both scalp with huge standard lots and only at certain market session hours. Their their exit is largely based on price pullback to protect their account deposits.

The hard truth is trading TMS is not so simple to be profitable despite many members here keep saying 'keep it simple'.
To become profitable, one need to work a lot more than just reading this thread. It is not just the basic forex stuff which people keep repeating go to babypips.com etc.
Those basic forex stuff is essential but that is not sufficient to make anyone to be profitable traders with TMS.
Every person is different and each has to find his / her own way to become a trader and then to become profitable.
If I tell people who are following this thread that TMS is a winning trading system and it will make them rich, I would be be lying.
