a forex trader that thinks he can follow every single move must be so desperate for gains recovery which inturn could culminate into more losses. UJ bears under control once we went under 111.50/40, clear sign of the down move which might be ending at 104.70ish if more pressure is exerted. Short term bulls might try to engage price to near 111.50 and if that fails long term picture would take effect another 315 pips from here downwards.

A real FX trader, is aware that things can flip very quickly. There was indeed a bullish signal last night, but signals fail. Not a surprise, as it was a counter-trend signal.

The bulls are defending 108.90, not sure if it can break.

There will be US data news in 4 hours 15mins, this can easily reverse the bull/bear trend of USD.

You're absolutely right in that sense, but as of now, the world still views the yen and gold as safe havens.

I've noted that the yen has seen weakness periodically, which is very interesting. I have sold AUD, EUR, GBP and now USD against the JPY over the last few days and have been pushed OTM by as many as 40-50 pips so many times by what I deem to be yen weakness. I'm still trying to ascertain what's the reason for it.

USD/JPY is trading to the downside now as the US dollar is losing steam. CMP 108.88, first support 108.30.

Welcome ST! It's good to share your perspective with members here and then learn a few good things that can help you become a better and consistently profitable trader. About your UJ viewpoint, I'm not trading again this week but yes, the overall technical disposition of UJ is southwards. However, there is likely to be a retracement northwards to around 109.320 and 110 before a further southward drive.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

I was told to tell the bulls the price will be rocketing to 112 this easter.
Who told me?
The easter bunny.
But for the bulls happiness, the wave is 23% with retracement right now, which means a possible long opportunity of 60-65 pips, going up till around 109.50 and then down to around 108.35. The same type of move and retracement just happened between April 12-13, just check it out and see. If the market repeats itself this time again, so this prophecy is gonna be fulfilled. After the CPI announcement probably we'll now.
It seems the bears still have the flag.

The immediate key support is about 50 pips southwards at the moment and unless you are a scalper, you would like to wait for a retracement to swing trade the pair southwards.
