Hi all,

This forum ain't what it used to be.... just fights or people showing off...let's bring back former glory to it.

So i wanted feedback on the following. Thanks!

1) Trump jawboning is BS...how long can it last? I remember the RBA doing the same back in '11 through to '14 was useless...can he really do anything except twitting?
2) Iron ore slumped, crashed, is lying on the floor almost dead...AUD did what? went up 120 pips from the low just a day ago.... any explanations here?
3) Employment in Aussie land is great! Good on ya guys, I left the country unfortunately year ago. NOW, how is that good or thaaaaaat good for the currency? Honestly? What is the economic fundamental behind this? Is there such a direct correlation btw currency and employment?

Hi! I suggest you visit the thread "fundamental trading" by sis.yphus here in forexfactory, it will answer most of your questions. And also I suggest that in your vacant time, you read the book "The Economics of Money, Banking and Financial Markets" by Frederic S. AUDUSD under 4hr chart is stuck inside the Ichimuko cloud with room to drop to 0.7535 and capped at 0.75985 by 200MA.
friday data was bad i think this will down near 30 pip down then up for 0.7600+

I was looking at that target as well.
But there's a tremendous support in the cloud and that long candlestick with short wick.
I'm thinking to go long for a while until 0.7640 area +/-10 pips.

I agree with you!

1 and 2, you can make up any reason on it. That is why we have good businesses in market reasearch to justify/find alibi on the recent movement.

3. Now that is good. That could be a strong support for the upside move.

Thanks an useful comment. For those condescending guy telling me to go back to baby pips and such.. .well thanks but you are missing the point.

I know what i know and in 10 years reading more BS about what could maybe casually hopefully explain an up or down move won't help.

Let me tell you how the market works;

The markets is a contrarian bitch. It will do anything to fck you up. Think of the latest down move. First it did all in its power to hit ad many stop losses as possible. Then and only then it went down.

It is a lottery really except for certain hard to find moments were it actually does what is supposed to and if you are in you make money.

For all newbies out there listen carefully. There is always a seamlessly satisfactory explanation of why something went up or down. Bullshit that helps nothing. Next time you will not be able to make money out of the same explanation believe me.

So cutting to the chase and seeing what is actually happening regardless of all BS news

AUD couldn't break MID 0.77 and each time it bounced and went down pretty hard whichis usually what happens when priced lose steam

When going down every body jumped in to go short using the motto "I told you AUD is going down " which I have been hearing since 2011. Then the bitch said "really?" And went all the way up enough to destroy any position with a stop loss...which i don't use by the way

So continuing previous post.. .

The next move is down except of course a Real Game Changing Piece of News changes things...and that news IS NOT BLODY AUD EMPLOYMENT going up. Is much more than that. Not sure if am clear on this. Real movers are to me iron ore for instance. That is significant to AUD and it is plummeting...yet it goes up. Go figure

So today or at 0.76 or as some say at 0.7640 it will resume down if no game changer materialized. You can't tell when and this is the other issue. Fibonacci etc to me are all BS . They work 50% of the time and I am being generous. Maybe they work better in daily timeframes...

Point is when it will go short you need to be in BEFORE the move happens because it is too fast to catch ehrn it does. It always is. Remember market is a bitch. It won't give you the chance to enter smoothly. So you take a risk. And the risk is when do you enter? Of course in this example the higher the better but nobody knows when it will turn. Nobody
The stop losses will kill you so the only way to make money in the market is having a lot of money yourself to ride the high dangerous waves against you

If you have little money you got to use micro orders really....yeah I know some guys will tell you they made 100000 out of a 10000 account... And even though they are geniuses they want you to pay them 2000 bucks to teach you how they did it... ridiculous

Let's talk again in 2 weeks. Today AUD is almost 0.76. If no game changer it will go back down.

Which are game changer?

1. Rare hikes slow down but real facts on this not speculations....and guess what most of the time it is all speculation so it is very hard to know

2. Iron ore reversing. For instance iron required to build weapons because ww3 started

3. Unexpected shit such as 3 or four months of really bad us data

yea, i'm on the daily chart and i never look at the lower time frames
