I recall Mario Draughi saying the same thing 2 years ago about EUR/USD. He said the price of "EUR/USD" was to high and it caused EU to spike up to 1.3999 and it has never been able to recover since. Does anyone recall that speech by Mario?

Only started live trading literally 2.5 months ago. But I got some serious passion for this game! Not sure what you're saying but I just saw during June 2014 to Jan 2015 it dropped and dropped every week. Now I'm a counter trend trader so that's very scary for me! But occasional trend follower if I believe a big move will continue.

Agree. Even 1.0770/1.0780 is in the cards now. I think any hourly close above 1.0690 will open the door to the penthouse you mention.

Yes it was around that time. Infact, it was a planned speech, EUR/USD was moving up for a week straight, and once he said the price of EU was to high, EU quickly spiked to 1.3999 and it dropped forever. It had only 1 strong "counter trend" move, but imagine all of the people buying, thinking that the move down was a stop hunt! Many people use those terms, but the reality is a hunt isn't a hunt until its to late for you to react. EUR/USD did a wonderful job today and now the issue is if people keep shorting, then it will keep moving up.

This move up really opened the door for a nice uptrend.

When all is said and done, I beg everyone to use SL!! I know it s not cool... I know it doesn't feel like the real thing... heck I know some of your friends may call you a loser for it... but believe me... its safe. and safe is the way to go.


With all the risks out there nowadays, like unplanned account fundings, and STDs (sucky trend diversions) you cant risk it!

It did, I dont remember a Bullish 4H bar that big lately. Not a dumb move, nasty but not a dumb one to me.

YUP - in circumstances of the world the timing isn't right. I usually take the 109.88 one , the swing is too big so the stops have to be wider - I don't like it
