This basket was opened using the CCFp histogram as filter as explained here https://www.forexfactory.com/showthr...ost9705274..No TP and SL was set for basket..Will leave basket to run and close it on Friday..We will see what this week brings..As usual I will record the results of the other settings of the CCFp indicator in Alan's CCFp google tradesheet on Friday..I wish us all green pips this week.

Histogram filter doing pretty well..We will see what this week brings..

just closed my daily for 131 pips profit before London close, whatever happens i am happy with the live trading so far

You will never go broke whwn u take profit.
Well done.. its so simple, right? And best of all stress free. Now u r in a position of profit and get to see the rest as they suffer thru the week lol

Please can you post your current instalation "manual" for v34 with .set and .tpl file?
I don't know how to install ccfp v34 correctly.

Ok Forexpinbar I have created one google sheet for you to add the histogram weekly trades and at the bottom of the same sheet you can add your monthly trades.
I hope this is suitable, if not please let me know.

I have used this indicator (MTF version) with the EA with no problems. It works fine with the versions so far. I am using V27.

I have been using v27 with no problems but the versions after this will not open trades for me (V31,33,34). I have cleaned out GV's removed indicators/ea's and reinstalled but no difference. There are no error messages in the logs, EA initialises no problem. Asa soon as I put the V27 back on it opens trades. Is there a setting I have wrong?

Thanks for your great work. I am just wondering how to find the indicators included in the template file. I want to modify the settings in the indicator but don't know where to find it. Everything is already included in the template.

I've been working on an Excel WorkBook project for the last couple of weeks, and after a lot of trial and error, I got phase one complete.

I tried to make it as simple and automatic as possible, so I included all the data within the WorkBook that you will need to do some backtesting. The signals are based upon the initial template for the indicator (10080 timeframe, false, false, TradeLevel 2) and the output from my broker. The price data (hourly) was collected from Dukascopy and covers January 2, 2012 through March 3rd, 2017. Of course, all of this data makes the Excel WorkBook very large (90+ MB), and it takes a couple of minutes to run a weeks simulation.

As I mentioned earlier, I have set the backtest/simulations up under "Worst Case" senarios. This means that the DrawDown that it reports is the Worst possible DrawDown for each hour and for the week. This was accomplished by assigning the hourly low price for any pair that was bought and the hourly high price for any pair that was sold. That means that to have actually had the DrawDown that is reported ALL the pairs would have hit their most extreme negative hourly pip level at EXACTLY the same moment (possible but highly unlikely). The same can be said for any positive hourly pip readings: they are the MOST conservative.

When you open the WorkBook, only the <Chart> tab ever needs to be open. Its layout should look very familiar and it is simple to use. Since the signals are for only one week, each simulation is limited to a 5 day time frame at most (Monday through Friday). The Start Time needs to be entered into the cells on row 2 from column AK to column AN, and the Stop Time needs to be entered into the cells on row 3 from column AK to column AN. Once that is done, Press the Black Button to run the simulation. It takes some time for it to sift through all of the data to find what you are looking for so it can take a couple of minutes to complete. When it is complete either an ERROR popup warning will appear or it will tell you that it is complete. Press OK and check out the chart and information provided in the tables.

Folks:
Done for the week 9.22% , 3rd straight week in profit. This basket has been on since Mar 13. It has gained 43.5% over the last 3 weeks.
It took just 12hrs for the basket to reach over 9%. I have TargetPercentProfit=10.1% but when I saw it over 7% I hit the CloseAllTrades button.
Live account too ..

EA looks great...however, GMT time seems to be 1 hour slow. I'm in Eastern US time zone at 22:30 EDT. Which should be 02:30 GMT.

My basket reached +427 pips at one point but I couldn't keep an eye on my %Gain to close out trades since my Account Margin is $1,000,000.00...lol. I just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work! Awesome Job!!!

Well I tried to fix my Demo account Margin and Leverage so it would be more like the Live account I would be trading. In that process I may have done something to my basket. I closed down my basket for this week at +280 pips, so I could fix my account. Now I cannot get another basket to start. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Here is a screen shot of my settings. Does anyone see anything wrong? It's acting like everything is going to work but then at the start of when the trades are supposed to be taken on the 1 day chart....nothing happens.....no trades.

Sorry it took so long to reply.

Time shifts tend to confuse many people, so you are not alone. The UK moves their clocks forward 1 hour on the last Sunday in March every year and they move their clocks back 1 hour on the last Sunday in October. GMT never changes so to account for London moving their clocks, we have to adjust the GMT time for London's openning.

From the Last Sunday in October through the Last Sunday in March, London opens at 08:00 GMT which is also the local time in London. From the last Sunday in March through the last Sunday in October London moves their cloks ahead 1 hour so their clocks use to say for example 7am but they have moved it ahead 1 hour for BST so their clocks now says 8am. GMT never changes so to get our EA (Thank You again Xmess) to still open at London open we must set it to 7:00 to equal the BST time for London open.

I hape, I haven't confused you even more.
