sure , it depends on the kind of gap and on the kind of market

it can be bullish or bearish , it depends on whether it gets filled first of all - this weekly open looks like there won't be much of a gap so it won't be like last week

Wait for confirmation, use a stop order for a trend reversal and a limit order for trend continuation.
People took profit but that doesn't mean trend will reverse right away. Certainly not when market opens.

We can also continue the downtrend.

Not many brokers are open over the weekend but the FX markets never 'close'

the FX market does close over the weekend , only thing is , on Sunday some platforms open before other retail platforms

Wrong! The retail FX market is closed, but banks and large institutions are able to perform transactions over the whole weekend.

No it does not close. You can watch the price all weekend over at xe.com
FX can't close because there is no central clearing house or exchange.

I cant help but laugh about this gap subject, it seems it will never end here. OK, FX markets never close but how do you guys want me to describe the price difference of my - and hundreds of other - brokers' latest quotations on Friday evening and when they re-open on sunday 10:00 pm my time. Did you have access to trade cause I didnt. Tell me one word - one word only - to substitute the word "gap" , lets make up a new one if you wish. I promise I will use it from now on.

For as long as I can remember it has been referred to as the retail gap. Just because the Foreign Exchange is still available to a select few institutions during this time is irrelevant. Retail clients have always refered to it as simply "the gap."

sure the retail market is closed , in that sense the FX market is closed - as a private trader you can't open any positions during the weekend , only after the Sunday open

I am short on the EURUSD; well effectively short as I am short on the EURNZD and NZDUSD. Trades are panning out well so far.
