I am not sure why you were buying with me/me in mind. The monthly had a large pin bar and then a bearish engulfing candle which had not been taken out - prior PA counts until it has been invalidated. Each subsequent month whenever price tried to go higher it was beaten back with large wicks - and the TDI was flat. Weekly PA - a dark cloud cover candle followed by a doji and tdi was down. Only the daily looked like it might go up as it had closed above the MA and the tdi had crossed up. That is good for a single entry but for me/me you would need to see reasons on the higher timeframes.

All those negative post's would have been avoided did member's adhere to BigE's post's not to add to or change the method. How many chart's are posted now that have only HA, 5EMA, TDI, Stoch on. How many post's are posted about TMS /TDI and how many are about how "I" did that or this. Compare post's and chart's against BigE's post's and chart.

I do not think most people get the point of the posts. It is NOT about changing things or little tweaks to suit themselves which everyone does and good luck to them. It is the constant posting of reasons people should not even be looking at the tdi because

"it is useless on the higher timeframes" - it is perfectly fine on the higher timeframes
"this is not a system" - yes it is and it is in the trading systems forum for that very reason
"this is trend trading" - it never was trend trading eelfranz used it as scalping on the h4.

So if I go into another systems thread right now and start telling everyone how useless it is and that you should not even be bothered with the indicators on it because they are no use, do you think I will be welcomed with open arms? or will I be told to leave and create my own? I think the latter. I am not full of negativity - Emmanuel is full of negativity with his posts made about this system in general, eelfranz's money management and the list goes on. That is what makes people angry not "changes".

The fact that the original poster has passed on is not an excuse to piggy back off of a thread for their own agenda. Emmanuel needs to open his own thread like he has threatened to do on numerous occasions because until he does he will not be taken seriously by a lot of people on FF. He has a lot of subscribers but gained a lot when he promised to send them scripts etc if they subscribed to him. Wake up - someone needs to tell Emmanuel to stop being so negative about this system or get off the thread altogether and create his own.

Guys, you don't need to wait for Emmanuel to create a new thread... start making your own using TMS strictly by Big E only.... nothing more nothing less. At least you can control everything there. You will get a lot of members to jump in if they truly adhere to Big E's method. I believe it will generate more subscribers... All information or important points about TMS method are well documented by simply looking at the paper clip of this thread, you can simply have it and post it on the very first page at your newly created TMS FF thread by Big E.

I would say Yes.
On your computer at home - No problem. That is how you have made TMS work for you.
Posting that chart that you understand is not that understandably for a "new" member to TMS.
He / She is going to ask you why are you using:........... and BigE said this or that.

Aug 29, 2011 is the date of the BigE post, I am referring to.
This clearly indicates that with the passage of time BigE has started to become flexible in his rules and that was reason he commented on dcginc post, conveyed message to every one if they want to adapt the system and it works for them they should go for it.

BigE said that he will do a backtest on D1 charts but unfortunately was unable to post the result, he passed away, otherwise he must have posted the result in this same thread.

Its mindset /mental fitness game , that contibutes about 60% in winning trading system. Some people change and some do not even with the passage of time as they do not accept change.

When you have heiken ashi on your chart it will always look like it is in the middle because of the way they are drawn. If you look at the actual candlesticks you will see you went in at the beginning of that candle.

As long as your price matches roughly the open price of the candle that is all you need to worry about, if you learn about heiken ashi candles you read them differently to the japanese candlesticks. A strong block of colour at the top (as in the eur/gbp chart) shows a strong bearish candle and block of colour at the bottom shows strong bullish. They are very good for those who are not so good at reading price action.

Can't lay claim's to the title of newbie. I still do the mistake's of a newbie, that is way like you, on this thread to learn the finer point's of what BigE did not post or could expand on. Have fine tuned TMS to how I understand it. Removed 5EMA, Stoch. Tried Candle bar and is back with HA. Did I post those change's in TMS no. After lisat show a candle chart I posted i removed it as not to confuse member's.
BigE left a void, I know TMS, understand TMS, trade TMS, it is those small point's that I seek. How to enter at the beginning of a bar. How to "out smart" green flat and stay in the trade a few bar's longer. Are the rules the same on D1 as for H1, H4. It is not nice to see H1 and H4 change direction and make a D1 profit trade in to a losing trade and go back into profit. What else did BigE do when he "glanced" at the chart's?

#261 - The TDI is the heart of our method. It tells you when to enter and where to exit any trades. I apply this to all my trade's with #647.

That is all there is to TMS..
(All the other indicator's and method's don't belong in TMS.)

Did you go short or long? If you went long, I still think it's ok but here's my feedback:

1. General trend is down.
2. TDI/RSI is under the 50% level so bearish sentiment is still there.
3. You did not confirm with a bullish HA barwhich is generally a requirement for TMS method.
4. With that big sell-off and way price is moving previously, it looks to be a possible bearish flag continuation pattern; it will be a slow and choppy move up to the 1.07250 handle I reckon. You'll want to keep watch of the structure and TDI direction when stochastics reach near overbought levels.
5. If the consolidation is slow enough, I think a breakout of the flag downwards will be your signal for a continuation move down. So a safer bet would be to sit back and position yourself for a possible opportunity to short.

It is short on EURUSD...

I cannot post anymore, my chart here in respect to Big E's thread or his TMS method and in order for me not to get a fanatic-like reply ; )-

Anyway, I admit, I am not successful alone with TMS Method... but on this trade (and all other trades before), I always use TMS Method as I understand it, then it includes Basic TDI trading rules by Dean Malone, and other confluence(s) from my own arsenal tool(s) or TA that helps me to come up with an informed decision.

By the way, I really appreciate your reply here... and I noticed that you rarely posted here ; )-

...I will PM my actual chart instead.
