Some AN. Im not bullish on this pair anymore. Waiting for some price levels below to buy, but looking for short next week to maybe setup here. Has a little higher level so cautious.

Long term view of NC position. Nice GDP numbers from Canada compared with the DEC numbers which caused a sell-of. Sorry lot of charts here but shows my thinking write or wrong.

Sleeping one off . Lol you know me well . The above chart is noted already but ????? Around that . Have a look at gbj strip out your chart and go on day chart and draw top tl then add 100 and 200 ema see what you get . I need to get my old pic out which has the old charts on them could you please post the chart when you have done . Thanks for the nice words . Ps your my favourite

I agree with sections of this guys article but a lot don't agree with.

RBA will not move interest rates down unless we get a significant shift in the housing market that causes a recession. Cant see that happening unless we get IR increases. I think the RBA will be forced to move up on factors that are mainly centered around the housing market. Im bearish AUD on the crosses but like the states I can see moves up before they move down again. Australia is in big trouble with the housing market and any RBA lowering at the moment would be crazy and think RBA will be forced to move up which will trigger the recession.

Chart below shows growth in interest only loans. Scary thought to think 40% of loans are being written as interest only loans pointing to people having to stretch to purchase house on interest only loans. Especially with zero wage growth and banks increasing mortgage rates outside RBA cycle. Spread between RBA cash rate and mortgage rate is at its highest level in years.

This goes for NZ as well. Both are heading for trouble, especially if the Commodities rebound is short lived and is finding the bottom. I don't know many commodities cycles that have gone from peak to bust and then take off again on a V return to peaks. They are normally 15 year odd cycles.

This statement sums it up for me on the RBA "Monetary Policy is currently sandwiched between underlying inflation that is below target and re-accelerating house prices"

Just a point of interest.

Latest cyclone Australia just had (cyclone Debbie) will most likely add to headline inflation as the cyclone hit a big food basin that produces 1 billion worth of ag crops each year for Australia and 95% of winter crops in some agriculture types. Tomatoes, corn, beans, cucumber, eggplant, capsicum.

The last major cyclone was in 2011 which slashed supply of bananas only by 75%. Bananas price shot up by 3-4 times in price and contributed .25 to headline inflation. The effect of this will be felt May June.
