Hey Divine,

I may be wrong, but doesn't the 1.8626 low occur in the next bar? Therefore the intersection would be around 1.8710-15? Just my opinion based on my understanding of this system.

To moutekitrader: Thank you for sharing this intriguing system. I am really anxious to see the rest of your system, especially how you do your stops.

To everyone else: I know you're excited, but could we please cut the chatter for a bit and give mouteki time to breath. I was really looking forward to having him present a bit more of the system, but all he's had time to do today is respond to everyone's posts.

As Bemac implied, if everyone will be patient, everyone's questions will be answered.

So please let mouteki give us new information instead of him taking time to answer too many posts.

I agree with you but I still think asking questions/asking for clarification is reasonable unless Moutekitrader wants to keep this thread clean.

In that case, maybe we need another thread, but I feel he would be happy to see many people posting in this thread.

I think what we can do is that people who can answer questions can volunteer to answer questions without taking too much of Moutekitrader's time...and if some answers are not correct, then maybe Moutekitrader will be happy to point it out for us later on.

But like many people here, I am looking foward to new materials Moutekitrader will post...so maybe we can limit our quetions to whatever was covered in the document and for clarification purposes only at this point, or restrain ourselves from asking questions that only Moutekitrader can answer at this point.

What do you guys think?

There are going to be lots of newbies (incl me) in here and the BIG danger, as always, is that no-one can leave a method alone. They want to tinker with it, so I think the less we try and interpret Moutekitrader's method, but stick STRICTLY to the guidelines, the better it will be. I'm going to stop offering advice until I'm really sure I know what I'm doing.

but I am going nuts following all these great posting by Sidus, Kolochi, Tick, Bagovino and now Moutekitrader (and the many others ). It might take years to go though everyone and dicide wich one fits me best !!!!1

You should stop doing that. Follow one, and move on, technical part is not that important as it seams. You can't test all the women to see witch one will be your best wife... it might sound good but... by the time you tested enough you will be 70's and all alone.

First thanks for the powerpoint files which are valuable and self explain to me. After observing the 15 examples I realise that the trend direction is determined by the latest few candle sticks, that is the first point of trend is decided when its fulfil the left and right 2 candles definition.

Hence if the first point is fulfilled, then the trend is determined. The next step is to look for the second point. Can Moutekitrader help me to enlighten this understanding. Thanks.

Btw I do also notice in example #12, the trend can spread more than one week.

This is going to be your biggest mistake. It's a well known thing in trading (any market) that give a proven, profitable, plan to a group of people and maybe 1 or 2 may make money, the rest will lose money. Why? The rest try to modify it, or don't follow the rules.

I can't count the systems I've looked at and, because I didn't follow the rules, lost out.

I've now reached the point where I'm setting rules and sticking to them. If I can't make progress, sticking to rules, and exercising proper Money Management, then I'll look at my strategy.

This looks as good as anything, mainly because of its simplicity, and the logic seems solid. For me, time will tell, but if I don't stick to the rules I will fail.

So, my advice is this. Try this, forget the others, stick rigidly to Mouteki's rules, learn Money Management and then if it doesn't suit you, move on. But not before.

Your projection looks correct, but the only thing is you are on the 1 hour chart and the method states to be used on the 4 hour, to avoid noise.

or maybe not. On second thoughts, there must be 2 candles on either side of the points lower than the the points you have chosen. This doesn't look to be the case, although one may be obscured.

I'm not Moutekitrader but I think your point A and B are too close together, making the point B on the right invalid.

Yeah, I think you're right.

There has to be at least 2, maybe 3 candles, inbetween to be valid in order for both point A and B to have 2 lower candles on both sides.
Which is more better result, the longer point A to point B or shorther point A to point B?

There needs to be two bars to the left and two bars to the right of the chosen candle. Have a re-read and study the PPT files again.
It takes a while, if you haven't been used to doing trendlines this way, to see the right bars. Even I'm struggling, having normally drawn them from left to right. The secret is to not rush into this before hitting the order trigger.

Can any of you suggest stop loss placements with this system? As you all know, this is vital to proper R/R analysis and money management. I know Mouteki mentioned this is coming... but... any ideas? Can't really trade without it...

Place at "X" number of pips above/below trendline value at entry bar?
Place at upper/lower value of vertical line bar?
Fixed 25pips for GBP?

Very interested to see the recommended stop strategy for this system.....
