PS: I think the real challenge of using this particular system is lack of patience. If you are not able to let that trade run until it either hits your target or stops you out, you will never succeed using this method. If you want more "action" you can use a faster trading system on the side. Patience, discipline and good money management is key to any trading system. Just my 2 cents...
Always wait for the opportune moment… just be careful not to miss it.

Hi Mouteki,

I have read the 4H trend line document and this thread with my clear observation. Its seem to me that this is a good strategy in determining the tren direction and the expected profit, based on supply and demand of the market.

My only question is about the openning bar of the monday market. When do you know the openning market as there are various markets or do you base on the first openning market hour from New Zealand or London market for currency pair GBPUSD?

this is the same as the "reversal magic" system, there was a public thread on forex-tsd about it and has a document describing it and an mq4 indicator to detect the reversal point but this thread 'magically' moved to the subscription forum

This is not the same as Michael Parsons "Reversal Magic". I know because I have read all his material. I tried applying his theories to forex and it just did not 'fit' right. The FX market seems too dynamically wild. The closest this methodolgy comes close to is perhaps his Balance Magic but projection points and the like are calculated completely differently. That said I feel the Mouteki Method is rather unique in it's approach but I did see some gray areas where it may be tricky to properly point out proper A and B points. But overall it seems like a very solid and disciplined way to tackle the FX market.

I hope this is what you where looking for, this trade would have been taken, let me know if this is what you were asking for...the long candle that falls south about 100 pips before the trade was not a valid 2 candle support so this demand line was the most dynamic at this point in time...Trades to carry over into other trades also, like this one does, the next post will show that..let me know if this clarifys your question.

When two trades occur in the same direction when the first one is yet to pay out, you can target the second price projection payout for the first trade also. When two trades occur that are in opposite direction the first one is closed immediately and traded the direction of the most dynamic trend break...

Not so quick my friend, this method works in all markets. Don't be so quick to make such assumptions. Spend time with it and explore all setups in different market conditions.

What about ALL that Reading you done about "Patience"? Did you think it was only about being Patient when reading about Patience?

Slow down and absorb.

Hmm... not sure about your question. What does the opening bar of the monday market have to do with anything. This is a dynamic approach, you are using what you have in front of you on the 4 hour chart. Does this answer your ?

Sorry for the messy question and confusion. My point is to take GBPUSD as an example, when come Monday the first openning bar of the GBPUSD should be the key factor in determininng the projected profit if the price fall below/above the demand/supply trend ( draw on previous week ). The key issue is should I take the openning price on Monday base on the first openning price in the morning from New Zealand ( as they are the first to trade forex in the morning ) or should I wait for the openning session from London instead.

It is interesting to know what happen after taking the profit say on Tuesday ( that is close the trade after the profit is met ). Do you still need to redraw the trend line again or wait for Friday at the end of the session. Thanks.

This method is beautiful and it if you follow it, you can see where profit taking will occur. It's simply amazing...I just hope people won't mess it up and start taking profit early.

I think the basic idea is to use your 4-hour chart using your broker's price data to do your own trades...so people most likely get slightly different bar formations but I don't think the market opening time has much relevance to this method. You just need to stay focused with your chart and the 4-hour bars to trade.

o.k I have attached the screenshoot of my GBPUSD project based on the period from 4th Sep to 8th Sep. This is a supply trend and the two points are from 1.8870 and 1.8953. The lowest point for the horizontal line is 1.8626. The intersection point is 1.8732. Hence the projected profit is 1.8732 - 1.8626 = 106 pips.

Therefore on Monday morning if the open price is above the supply trend line, I will put a long trade with SL = 20 pips and TP 106 pips . This is provided the price does happen above the trend on Monday or Tuesday.

Any comments are welcome.
