im afraid if you look at it like this...
in order for the gap to not get filled... the price will NEVER EVER go back to the price of the so called gap... in this case the Friday close... it means EU would stay above friday close by at least lets say 1 pip FOREVER

I am on this one 100% with you. This is the second day reading this thread because I do not trade eurusd. I have been visiting this site for almost 6 years now. I do not call myself a professional trader at all but I have learned the basics and funtamentals as well as technical abilities of this game. What amazes me in this thread is most of you guys were bullish up until 2 hours ago and not most of you paid attention to the gap. Yes yes I know you all mentioned that gap but did not adjust your trades according to that. I explain you the reason: its because no fundamental and no big news could have distanced this baby from that gap for a longtime. unless some major and big events occurs and then yes we might have not seen that gap filled for longtime. But with no news no major events, no major datas, no meetings that gap fill must have been an easy task to identify. and everybody calls himself a professional institutional trader come on guys give me a break for gods sake.
This shit was the easiest trade from day one of the gap that it has to be filled soon. But not many on this thread called that.

I positioned my trades and even doubled down on my shorts based on the gap , I agree that that there are some here with little or experience preech like professors ...at least they put their money where there mouth is and sitting on heavy losses, so we need to give them some credit ... let's move on now

At what point do you decided that the 20% bounce is no longer good? What I mean to ask is, how many pips would the price have to pass that fib before you accept it as not a valid bounce? I ask, as I have noticed many people use fibs, but no particular fib is any stronger than any of the others you can pick.

Yes... my point is in order for a gap to not get filled whether it be on the day or day after, the price would.never go there again... hence why the probabilities are high... and if you take into account that gaps are usually small... probably close to that percentage.. chances are they are going to be closed...

There is no obligation for price to move to the gap
