Probably. But I'm talking more in terms of recessions and depressions and just overall saving money. During a depression, the last thing you want to be doing is exchanging all that gold you bought at an expensive price before the depression. In fact, you want to be doing the exact opposite. You want to be buying gold while everyone is selling it, and hoarding it so that you can sell it again when the value goes back up. Having assets like real estate that you can lease out to people without giving up ownership of the asset itself is much better in my eyes.

If the value of all fiat currencies goes to zero, odds are we will have larger problems than "what do we use for currency now?" Everyone will still need shelter though. So if you're able to offer shelter to people, you will effectively have a universal currency to buy all of the other things you need. Food perishes. Shelter, not so much.
On another note, that's the third time we've tested 1.085 on the 5 minute. I'm anticipating a drop down to 1.082 before tomorrow morning.

.0850 seems a strong resistance level, a lot of shorting is taking place which might push the prices a little upward, however a pull back to .0828 is valid , i was waiting to see this resistance formation and looking for the right opportunity to enter for gap filling
I am long on this, but I'm not so sure if EUR strength is real. So far, it seems like the movement is from USD being weak af. I want this to cross 1.85 convincingly and stay above, before we can confirm the EUR is now the currency to go into. Just my thoughts.

As pathetic as the dollar index looks , may be a time when it is just dollar weakness driving everything

Sorry just seen your post , I use a few different things but the easiest really is just a 24 ema average on an hourly chart ,,, ,,,,,,not sure where ya got in at but the 24ema is just an average daily price ,, pretty easy to keep track of

good possibility it may not get touched again till tomorrow sometime ,,,,,,,,,,,, just depends on the frankie fakeout and when the london session volume comes in what they got in mind
