Yup. I think there's a lot of meat on this bone. What is important is how much of it sees light in the end. Investigators are human. So there's political motives, career motives and error that dims that light. Might be time for today's journalists to get off the couch and take a break from shilling snacks and clicks and refresh their professional mission. Woodward has retired to the book tour circuit. Need some younger hounds now.

A rather dull sessions with only Sterling* moving as widely expected since triggering RMT.

On the rest of the board very little to track and for the rest of the day we have local US news that will affect some very specific sectors in Stocks if pass, otherwise it will just add to the feeling that candidate Trump ideas are going to crash against a big wall in Trump President land....

Politicians like him don't just fade away so easy. History and almost in every single comparable case across the world just give us 3 and sadly (only 3) key correlations for a major fall down from a populist/nationalistic leader: either by 'Time Decay' (some can last as long as Castro in Cuba or Mugabe in Zimbawe, etc), by 'Blood' (Ghadafi, Mussolini, Hussain etc or the countless list of banana republic populist and nationalistic presidents and dictators), or by 'Dead' (Chavez recently in Venezuela)...none seem to be in play for now ...

In my opinion, as long as the big $$$ are making a killer fleecing markets, regulation, subsides, tax and etc, the odds of a dramatic change are zero to none.

He will make major fck up, there will be blood, there will be tears, there will be less democracy, less freedom, less free markets, less free trade, and the poorest between his core support will feel the impact in their pockets sooner rather than later if he continue like this (i honestly hope I am very wrong in this one and all turn out good...but I am way pass the age of believing in fairytales).

I have no doubt about it, but for now the 'King Makers' are sitting in the table expecting a feast and are not in 'Behead the King' mode...

try drawing 1.046x low at start of consolidation up to the 1.17 high... mid should lay at 1.1086... after a new Low, usual move is to mid... think that's what the post he wrote yesterday was getting at... that's how i play it anyway

When that is told. We are rolling around last week high. I think that is a bullish roll.

In Gator's post I'm referring to he mentioned 1.13x as the 2X Target. A bull run from current lows at 1.0340 that makes 1.1087 a 1X Target gives you that. I guess that's why I was thinking he meant it that way. Not really a full time mofu guy though (whatever that means) so I prolly f'd it up.

A rather dull European session with very little new in play for the rest of the month. NY to come expecting more nothingness until very late in the afternoon that we may have some noise from the US political front....

I find it rather surprising the amount of interest in this vote when is very little to nothing in play from a strictly economic point of view. A bit of a typical Media made show. From outside it looks rather backwards that politicians have been talking and fighting about this for nearly 9 years and still fighting like children....

If they would have spend 1/10 of the time discussing how to actually reform the healthcare system instead of non sense ideological fights, the US should have by now the best healthcare system in the world. Sadly is probably one of the weakest in the develop word ...who can understand politicians?...but who can understand the voters that keep allowing this to be a circus instead of a technical discussion with social and medical reasons instead of a dogmatic discussion between 2 parties. Shame on both ...

Sure there is big political implications especially for Trump and obviously implications for US in the healthcare sector and immense social consequences for Americans one way or the other. However, from a strictly trading and market view this a rather very local politics impact report.

If it pass, some very very specific big corporations in the sector and related insurers are going to have a feast and great Quarters ahead which is positive for their stocks but nothing out of the scope of macro implications in the economy.There is very little impact in the vote itself beyond a good excuse to keep pushing up in Equities and very short lived 'knee jerk' (if any) to clear the Q on the highs or on profit taking.

Actual there is marginal but more important impact if the vote Flop for Trump as it will add to the broader sense that we won't get much in the economic front for a long time ...

In any case, more politics than economics and markets in this one. In the way to the airport to Toulouse here, so we'll track it on the fly later.
