VERY FIRST POST! I have thoroughly enjoyed finding TMS in its various forms; meaning I first found Trade Made Simple (Big E/eelfranz), which led me to here (Direwolf), but then another called TMS for Newbies (MrAussieFX). I read the original TMS forum until my eyes were bugging out/red/hurt, trying to find (or at least understand) what the latest version of techniques, indicators, templates, etc. Then someone posted that it would take me 8 years to finish the original post!! Ouch! Honestly, I got lost. So, off to TMS & Me. Whew, thought I had found the "cleaned up version"...hahaha. And then somehow came across TMS for Newbies...read all those posts. All of them seem to make sense in their own right. I have a couple of separate folders that I placed indicators, templates, summarizations/collections of posts to help filter what I needed to get started depending on which forum I was on.
Love the education in each one of the forums, and the respect each of the traders have for each other, sharing, etc. Hopefully I can do the same. But now I'm wondering about what seems to be slightly different approaches based on slightly different tweaks to the parameters. For instance, are we using plain/default Heikin Ashi bars, or are we saying we need to use Dean's version of Average Price Bars? Are we using TDI or are we using Synergy_APB Pro, etc, etc. The last set of indicators I downloaded was from TMS for Newbies, which doesn't include TMA. Anyway, long enough...maybe someone could clear up the slight differences. I do like trading the higher TFs (specifically 4H) due to job/family commitments.

Welcome. In my opinion, this, the simplicity of what is in this thread, is enough, with experimentation and watching. It helps to go down to the one minute tf and observe what happens speeded up as the TDI moves with price. There is a small pdf that is helpful attached....

I was simply looking for good level to "buy low" and thought the that bottom to the left looks like a good level. If you zoom out even more you'll see price bounced off that zone many times. Same with AUD/USD, I was simply looking for good level to "sell high" {image}

Where have you been all this while?
Hope all is well?

Hi Efestus. Still doing well and trading here My dream of sustaining myself purely from trading is not a reality yet however since I withdrew a large chunk of funds for my daughter's birth (large for my country, small for you guys I'm sure lol.)

My method has changed a lot however. Today I rarely use any indicator but instead make trade based more on fundamentals.
