Very interesting strategy, how long have you been trading it? and how is your results so far? all the thread has set up but I don't know which end up winners and which were losers.

Thanks Mark for joining us here. I have been using the strategy since November, 2016. My first position was on 2nd November on CHFJPY long, some positions were NZDJPY long. You can also check the current position I got in- EURNZD long. Check all the positions I have shared. You would see that they move accordingly. If you read all the posts you would see that I said NZDJPY triggered my initial entry SL. I also said that even when your initial position SL is triggered you wait for lower band rejection to get in again for bullish trade. Opposite is the case with bearish position. You use upper band rejection to join again. It means that I lost in my early position of NZDJPY long and I got in again, closed before US election because of uncertainty, then got in again. Just check the charts I posted so that you see for yourself how the pairs moved. As I always say, don't use it to fight trending market. It worked when market had been moving sideways and it's breaking out of sideways. You would see EURNZD long now.
You would see how all the JPY pairs were ranging, and when they finally broke out of ranging they all obey the strategy. I have all the JPY pairs in my journal, though I did not take all. It's all about strategy and setup.

For those just joining this thread I said in the past that weekly SL is safer, but wider. And so we small lot size.

Also using the previous high on the weekly as take profit would be ok, instead of leaving your position still open when the weekly resistance is reached - for bullish trade

Greed made my to loose some of the profits I made on my NZDJPY long when I ignored the weekly strong resistance. Am just repeating some of the things I have said before for the purpose of those just joining us here

EURCAD had been so funny. There was setup based on the two strategies, but they were too weak. The daily was rejecting the upper- closing very fairly. The resistance breakout with stochastic on overbought was also weak. Thanks to today's candle. If today candle ends well by closing strongly above the upper band we might have bullish trade. If I will take the setup below the low price of the weekly candle will be used for SL.

I was really scared of the EURCAD when it was trapped below ranging resistance. Also my fears was also compounded with the fact that my EURUSD long had not taken shape. There was signal when the last week was closing, still right below the middle band.

I have leaned a great lesson from the EURCAD long trade setup. It would be on record in my journal. The lesson/question is that when the weekly and the daily meet the conditions and the setup is trapped below resistance, what would happen.

Forex market already has what it takes to make pips. It has many indicators to make us profitable. Some of these indicators have been in use for decades and are still used by different professionals. Building EA may not be necessary. I may be wrong, but I believe the market already has everything. All we need is to choose the best ones for us.

The strategy has made another great setup again on EURJPY

Those who have been following the thread, you must have been wondering why I always use the word "Closing/Closed" at the same time. If the last daily that formed the trade setup closes on Friday is different from the ones that closed before Friday. Pleased don't be confused with closing and closed.
