This falls under copyright infringement and sale without the owner's consent
That word on their website "Our Personal Navigation of the forex Market" is like a theft
that website should be reported,
I love the MadDash and i agree that it has helped me a lot too it is a free gift from a great mind
who could have sold it, but he gave it to us Free_

Just code the indicator to have a enter in a password like Free at forexnews factory and have it print a small logo or something in
the corner that says free at forexnews factory
to would help stop the reselling

Hi,

The indicator was set to expire on Dec as well and got updated, later, and once that update took place the owner of the site also updated it. So once it again expires and gets updated, the owner of the site will do the same. The owner of this indicator should hardcode a watermark or any kind of information that stops this piracy.

This would be a simple solution.

It is sad that there are people out there like this that would exploit coders for all their hard work & gullible public like this.

The currency slope advice has been very useful for me, for double confirmation, I use Heiken Ashi Exit and Heiken Ashi Smoothed cross (sometimes) as well. Do you still trade this currency slope method?

Generally i play a lot with this nice tool_
That is how MadDash appears with a different Broker
I have tried Mdash with most Broker's Paltform but with this particular Broker it shows additional white lines
I got the same settings and same everything with foreground of course_ and prefer all black, no lines
Did some adjustment in MadDash and realised that she is not the problem of the lines_
Not sure if anyone is having the same_

Beautiful work 919gilead & honestknave

Truly a masterpiece, and damn helpful too !!

But a question arises: I can't seem to fit it nicely on my 4k laptop. No matter what font size I use, the numbers and text are barely readable. Any idea how to fix this ??

(I tried running MT in the 640*480 resolution, but that was awful. I know I can downscale my general screen resolution, but that has an averse effect on the other charts in MT4, the ones I use for trading)

Honestknave,

In the next version, will you please consider adding the option to include all 9 possible TF's instead of seven? I don't know how much of a coding issue this might be, and it wouldn't make sense for those who compare TF1 vs. TF2 and solid currency blocks for alerts, but looking at constant row colors and making short term decisions on the monthly trends, it makes a massive difference.

I currently run two separate instances of MADdash - M1-H1 and H4-MN1 - but can never see the full picture as I can not run two instances of MADdash on the same chart. It's well known that the monthly and weekly trends give an enormous amount of insight into short term direction and reversals, but seeing it in MADdash makes it crystal clear.

If not possible, no stress, and just a whole lot of thanks again for this awesome tool.

Jenbols,
I had the same issue when I tried to load MADdash with an old template that I used with a previous broker. Problem solved when I opened a fresh chart and loaded this template...

.... then drag a fresh instance of MADdash into the chart and set 'Automatically clear chart' to false.
Hope this helps - and hopefully no offence for attaching this template to this forum.

Let me first answer my own post about 4k screens (https://www.forexfactory.com/showthr...#post9701455):

right click on shortcut icon - "properties" - "compatability mode" - "disable scaling on high DPI settings"

Now, I just finished reading the entire thread. Some powerful stuff there !! And a very kind community of contributers, critics, coders and thinkers. The interwebZ can be a nice place from time to time

A few minor questions though, for 919Gilead or anyone elso who feels like helping out:

  1. I can't really seem to find a nice MA-ribbon that fills. I tried "MA ribbon filled", even changed the code slightly, but still don't like the result. Better ideas ?? What do you guys use ??
  2. I also looked for a simple indicator to show me the M30 candles High and Low-lines on lower TF charts, but no luck there either. I tried "Custom Candles6" but it was underwhelming. What is the indi Gilead uses ?? It's nice and clean.

EDIT:So far I only found "Pipnotic intra candles", and that seems to do the trick, but it's a paying indi. There must be a free version somewhere, no ??

  1. Last but not least: what would be a good way to get the alerts from MADdash sent to my phone ? I am on the move a lot, and this would really help me to trade. Is there an EA I could perhaps use ? (looked into MADTrader 1.1, but did not see that option there)
