Yes I have seen that. Min, for every sell we at least need the high price for worst case DD and opposite for a buy.

If we are leaving the trades on the table to the end of each week then price for the TP is not required.

You're both right, but the difference for a 10/15 pair basket might easily be +200 pips and that makes a lot of difference if we put a SL. If we don't, well we just take the weekly close prices and see what's the outcome.

Thank you for drawing our attention to this challenge...Now that we have identified this problem we need to find a way to fix..I dont know how but if you or anybody has an idea how this can be fixed please dont hesitate to share solution with us..Goodluck.

It will be time consuming but it's simple enough on Tiivaa's spreadsheet. Thats for the stoploss only. Anybody willing enough to take up the challenge?

I want help,but not smart inaf in this things,if its time consuming than need to divide time periods per person for testing,but first I need to learn how to do that

Like many other websites , they ask you to register and make a profile before you can download.

For the data side you can also download in mt4 from your broker feed. That has the open, high, low & volume.

You may probably be wrong with your observation because based on the instructions Tivaa provides in his pdf HOW TO MAKE PAST CHARTS USING CCFp-Diff INDICATOR , Tivaa collects his data from candlesticks and from what I know , candlesticks include the open,close,high and low of price..Correct me if i am wrong..

Your are correct however on his final page he has used the open price. All we need to to is use the high or low.

I think not such big difference like 200 pips it could be smaller,but how big that is the question,if not too big than its not problem that our data not be perfect,solution could be not take 1h candle but 1m candle (because in 1m candle wicks s not such big like in 1 h)but exel file could be different,maybe tiivaa could help with this situation,other solution could be close positions with loss or tp exatly when 1h candle closes because in that time we dont have wicks only new candle opening time price would be exactly the same like in tiivaa graphic at that moment

Thank you Tiivaa for your tutorial on how to construct your charts.

I am in the process of constructing "Worst Possible Case" charts. Instead of just using the "Open" price column, I will use the "Low" price column for ALL Buy Pairs and the "High" price column for ALL Sell Pairs. This will then show charts that will reflect the Worst Case Scenario where ALL Buys are at their extreme low at the same time and ALL Sell are at their extreme high at the same time. This will reflect the greatest possible loss and the least possible gain. From there the analysis can show good sets of "Pessimistic" SL/TP parameters. By that I mean, actually results will have a high probability of be "Better" than what was simulated.

I will post my results as they become available.
