Wow! Is that 11556 net pips I am seeing for 28 weeks ?If it is then this strategy is very profitable in the long term..

This does look very promising, but I believe it needs some more research. It appears as if the SL amount was reduced to the maximum SL with each pair hitting their individual 25 pip SL. While that would be the maximum weekly drawdown, it assumes that ALL the pairs hit their individual SL. This may, or may not, be the case. This means that some of the weekly results may not have been as bad as depicted. This is a good thing.

Now taking a look at the weekly close profit there is also a potential problem. It assumes that NONE of the individual pairs hit their 25 pip SL sometime during the week. This can be either a good or bad thing. If a pair lost more than 25 pips at the close on Friday, then it would be capped at that 25 pip loss instead of possibly hundreds of pips which is a good thing. However, a pair may have also hit their 25 pip SL and then turned around to move into a profit that is depicted in the weekly profit that is not actually there. This is a bad thing.

The only way to know for sure whether the 11,000+ pips is accurate is to run a simulation with each pair having a 25 pip SL and the rest closed on Friday. I believe it will show promise, whether it's slightly more or less than the 11,000 pips.

we talk about 25 pips x numbers of pairs in basket,not induvidal 25 sl per pair

Maybe you missed my previous posts (993 in particular). I'm NOT suggesting to fix individual SL to the single pair. The approach suggested by Ajs starts from this definition of SL, without fixing a TP. Results are very interesting and worth to be monitored.

Are rows 19 and 20 correct? It doesn't make much difference but I think the full SL got hit.

could someone pinpoint me to an overview (or discussion on FF) about VPS to run Metatrader with this expert on? I cant let my PC run all day which is why i'm asking.

Actually I have to admit that I did, and apologize for not following the thread closer.

Now it makes sense and I have adjusted accordingly. I am testing the 10am GMT entry and will report back.

Stopped out -200 pips opened basket LO +1 hour

I opened at 11:00 GMT. Now I do not have the MT4 on hand (at work I look at the iPad), but I see that this morning I must have had +15 pips -70 pips (now should be -45 pips)

Opened @ 06:00 GMT, closed @ 09:12 GMT due to jumping stop. I know that the EA closed the trades @ 09:12 because the GMT and Broker Current Hour displays both froze at that time. This confused me for a while so I reset the EA which is why the times in the photo are different. I actually see this freezing of the times in the display as a good thing as it gives a quick reference as to when the trades were closed. Anyway, for me as a less pips larger position sort of guy, a successful test.

Seems like your basket is doing well...What time in GMT did you open your current opened basket and what stop loss and take profit settings did you use?
