Good point. I also think also that it will push up some pips. As I said it will take some hours with +/- 10 pips before it falls down.

1.08 is my take profit of the long position. Then I will wait to join EURUSD- bearish/bullish. Thanks for pointing to the weekly chart. The last weekly candle has two positive points
1. Small hammer with bullish body
2. Long lower shadow

euro looks incredibly bullish against everything, i suspect ill have a shot at all of these this week... that being said... i trade tops bottoms and they are always bullish/bearish ...
we could drop right from the open... for at least 20 pips...
TP 1.0426 is normal move

Hi. I cannot be 100% sure buddy. This is my assumption. Let see what happens. I do not have open position over the weekend, so I'm ok with both outcomes.

Why I believe in down pressure? Well 1.0620 is historically known as very strong resistance. Looking at several timeframes shows me the same thing - strong resistance again and again. That's the technicals. Beside that, the fundamentals do not give me any reason to believe that this resistance will get broken. As somebody said pools do not make election results (France). We have also Italy which is more than dissatisfied with the situation in the euro zone and Poland, Hungary and Greece thinking of getting out of EU. We have also Germany and Netherlands with not good sentiment about the future of EU.

But again I may be completely wrong.

Hi there. I am an intraday trader, so no positions at the moment too, so not worried at all.

Just watching to see which side of EUR/USD I could play, so as to speak.

Do you trade the Sydney open?

60% of my trading goes to EUR/USD and 40% to AUD/USD. I'm a day trader as well. I try to avoid big Friday trading as I never use SL and I don't like open positions over the weekend. Deep thoughts, I just think this could be the best short entry if only this 1.062-3 level hold's it's grounds... only a thought..I wish for 1.0471 as TP (if this level holds)

Yes indeed. And by the looks of things it will hold ground, as it sounds like Janet Yellen voice about March hike is getting louder and louder over the weekend, as well as Trump making populistic statements pushing the EUR/USD in south direction.

I think we have a week with juicy spikes ahead of us. Wonderful opportunity for ending the week with good profit.

Going to try a short at TR level.. seems like a strong resistance on the upside. On the downside I will look for a short If we break SS and see a retest of SS.

I still believe in parity in a couple of mounts.

But let us wait untill Friday for nonfarm payrolls.

If they are good we see a rate hike,so big shorts to come.

Dragi is also speaking so it will be volatil this week.

It seems that Fillon is going to quit the presidential race in France making Le pen's hand stronger....

I don't think euro bulls can afford to keep longs as tension over French election getting higher...

any news confirming Fillon's withdrawal can cause a massive selloff on euro...
There's no harm in being smtm wrong especially if one is promptly found out

I see 3 possible scenarios playing out:

1. EUR/USD opens and inches upwards. Wait for 1.065 to sell.
2. EUR/USD gaps down. Sell into strength.
3. EUR/USD gaps down. Chase the train, sell.

Of course option 3 represents the highest risk

What do you guys think?

there is no gap down @ open. will push higher until resistance around 0650-60 then 50% pullback from highs. and after resumes higher.
