How do you combine range prediction with fundamentals? It's interesting to know how you do that. Please explain.

I think the ones that doest have any Picture of the fudamentals will not succed in trading.we have day to day variations and range but one must understand what is happening. People in the thread here ask what an CPI is will not succed With only Technical trading in my opiniom

And with only fundamental view, one can not trade a leveraged product such as forex succesfully.
Also relying on fundamental aspect only can be misleading. No one can know how a fundamental policy will be interpreted by the market players beforehand. All you need to understand is price to me, it tells everything. For that reason, I stick to technical analysis much more than fundamental views.

i suspect a substantial amount of stops will be hit below 1.0540 if its taken, and potential lead to a run to 1.050x again...

MACD in the same fashion we had earlier says we going higher st to me... oops

On H4 chart candles retested the edge of an ascending trendline higher and higher but with no successful candle close above each trendline touch.. Highest close was 1.0565 so that's what we should care if we are short..

To see more bearish action we need to stay below 15m Ichimoku cloud.. 1.0548 is bottom edge of cloud and as long as 15m candles stay below it bears will try to delve through 1.0540.

Short and simple: We need to get out of range 1.0565 to 1.0540.. My bias is bearish (especially if we can break 1.0540)

Your thoughts are totally acceptable by me according to my understanding of trading. However, that was not the answer I was looking for.
I was wondering about how do you put the price in a range having the fundamentals in mind (because you say your trading is based on fundamentals only).

I agree it can but the fudamentals win in the end. But somethimes it takes a very long time.
We read in this thread today abouth parity among people using technical. We also here some talk abouth 1,1 also using techicals. In my opinium it must be combined. A good trader have many years of experience With both technicals and fudamentals. My bank provides me every day With different coals. One buy due to technical and one sell due to more fudamentals. I use both this together.
I think averyone in this thread has a opiniom abouth a direction and Places it towards we look at the chart.

Fundamental analysis is for newbies so they can start believe and lose their money. Everyone with enough experience knows that since 2007 with interest rates close to 0 classic fundamental analysis doesn't work and news is merely a trigger for a predetermined move. Only CBs and strong unexpected news can fundamentally move market. 2016 has been a prime example with 2 unexpected big events followed by strong market movements.

Things can change with one single 4H bar so easily - credit to "edyraper" his wise words - this is the product we are trading.
I think both 1.10xx and parity arguments are reasonable.

Price is an end result of many aspects. The expensive EUR is damaging EU overall, yes it does but if you look at the chart, how long have we been trading way below than 1.40s - 1.30s. The price dropped and it never made a come back, why? The answer is there on the chart to me.

Like you said, it takes a very long time even if a fundamental policy and a target is in place. In the end Marianne, we are all just small investors who are trying to make some bucks between all that mombo jambo. No harm in reading following the CB news of course.
