S&P500 trading

Again, my friend Virgil is buying everytime the index closses above 52EMA on a weekly basis, lol .

I would not be trying to pick tops in this market. It's just in a "standby" mode for now until the Trump administration releases more details about their tax reform. Path of least resistance is still up.

We pretty much had a green weekly candle every week since the beginning of this year

MAs are not really my thing, but looking at the S&P weekly
with the 52 EMA the distance from price to MA right now is almost
as big on the upside as it was on the downside in late 2008,I'm
sure we all remember that time and no I'm not trying to pick a top,
just a bit shocked every day we make another "all time high",I just
don't see where buyers think companys are going to increase their
profits by.

Although there is a good chance for an imminent correction at the present levels (SP500 @ 2350 - 2450) in the short term, what I now see in the mid term (within 5 years or so) is the market headed for another 25+% to the upside (from the present levels). In the long run, a gloomy picture probably associated with a major debt / economic crisis is very likely (and devastating) while in the very long run (20+ years) I am again optimistic.

US stock market are in very vulnerability now though it has covered almost loss from the sell-of started last week. Risk aversion on the market shown as High yield corporate bond (junk bond) HYG was sell-off, bond yield spread $UST30Y- $UST2Y was flattening. Smart money
rotated to defensive sectors as Consumer staple sector XLP outperformed its benchmark index $SPX. With the rising of Commodities price $CRB to highest level from July should ensure for another rate hike at year end.
By technical approach, we can see price also boken up channel from August and now retesting. MACD confirmed a seling signal, RSI crossed 50 level which indicated the weakness of momentum.
Trading stratagies:
Wait to see price action at retest area 2590-2600 for another leg of selling.
If price can not close trading day above or even equal this level, another sell off will be coming and target at 2500, stop loss at 2606

Ok, as we can see nothing gonna stop this market, however i still expect one month of correction February or March. After that it should be at least 2 years more of bull market.

What makes you think that?

Honestly i cant explain, just because its a part of my competitive advantage. Lets just have a look how it goes. In fact im already wrong, cause i didnt expect to reach 2700 so quick.

Thats what i expect, look at the picture. The digits like 5000 or 6000 doesn't matter, i have no idea what the price of index will be at that time. The factor of time tells that deep correction possible in the middle of 2019 roughly 2-3 months after or before, lets say may or june 19. Than up trend till the end of 2021.

I don't personally believe in cyclicals. It's hard to predict S&P and any market that's at historic new extremes because there is no history to analyze the price structure against. Best is to trade it in shorter time frames if you must, but long term guesses like this are just throwing dice at the casino IMO.

The pull back is likely in and I'm now going to build a long term position shorting S&P with the Direxion Daily S&P 500 Bear 3X ETF (SPXS).

I'll also be looking to take smaller chunks out using Nadex options and spreads. This morning I booked an OTM strike at 2744 for $14 per contract and cashed on the touch at $55 per contract netting $41 per contract minus fees.
