OK here is what I think, any comments or ideas are welcome.

It used to be a case at least up until a few years ago, Europe was not happy with an overvalued currency. US the same,Japan the same. We literally witnessed a currency war between major central banks. The leaders of EU, Fed,BoJ,BoE used to give comments on how valuation of their currency affects their trade deficit.
The volatility of EURUSD and other major currencies peaked, trading was significantly easier back then.

At the moment, you dont hear that very often anymore. Why? Maybe the market found its equilibrium, maybe market became used to these levels. I notice that the price action is very steady these days. Even major economic events dont cause massive volatility. I am saying this, cause I have seen some FOMC days market moving up and down 200 pips. It is not the case anymore.

Many of the core issues - Greece,Italy & France - have not been fully resolved and on top of that, we now have Brexit, Trump presidency and dozens of political problems added into the mix. Problems are so big that any known fiscal policies can not be a clear solution. Even if they are, the time lag between a policy is placed and the effect we can witness is huge.

I see a lot of changes in trading currencies, some of them happened without being noticed straight away. But it became even harder now to succesfully trade, day trading is becoming a myth. I hate keeping positions over night but in current circumstances, I have almost no other option. It was all different back then.

I have 1.0580 marked as what should have been the most important near by support, perhaps it is resistance now....

I remember those days too. Nowadays, asia moves market way more than crappy London and only NY (often late) session does have some volatility. It can be due to algo trading or just traders being scared after some crazy volatile moves in the past. Or just increase of retail forex participants is leading to increased "confusion" zigzag range techniques when direction can change every hour, who knows. Maybe switching from London to asia trading would help, unforunately asia session is during night here and I also hate keeping position overnight especially before Tokyo opens (which can completely reverse previous direction).

EU H4 Chart Update

Things have changed since my last post. Bulls are in a very profitable zone. Starting from today we have great buy opportunities with low risk.

For example, If you wanted to trade a potential Shark or Cypher pattern you would buy inside these levels (New H4 candle opens in coming minutes).

If you wanted to trade the potential Gartley then you would wait for another low towards 1.0450 area. Here it is VERY IMPORTANT to consider that price cannot exceed 1.0450.. that would cancel the Gartley, otherwise the Gartley is still alive. Price must stay above 1.0450.. It must!!!

Short and simple: Buying near 1.0450 is highest R/R opportunity. (Inverted head and shoulders formation is also supportive)

Its the easiest pair to trade IMO .
Not tradable at the moment, its in a awfull range
