I noticed the thread just kind of died off, what was the end results?

Obvious drawbacks would when testing on real would be dealing plugins, spread, commission, slippage, etc.

Tick Scalper is an HFT system which requires ECN, fast execution (max 30ms). I suggest you demo forward test it on such environment if possible.

Preferred pair EURUSD. Minimum Points Input set to Half the Average Spread.

Also, using this type of tick algo will never work with mt4 just based on the fact that mt4 doesnt update ticks fast enough. It would most likely work a lot better with ctrader with a fix api.

Well. it's been a while since I used the EA, so I gave it a try on the nest day, Feb 7th, using these inputs on EURUSD M1 chart.



I ran it for about 2 hours while at work. and here is the output : 50 trades, 1.85% Return, 0.08% Max DD.

As I always say, Indicators and EAs are only tools, you have to do your homework and find the best way to use them for your benefit.

first need rsi 14 and rsi 50
second Cci 14

Rule for Buy
1. Need Rsi 14 cross above rsi 50
2. Wait CCi 14 cross above 0 then entry Buy

for exit Buy
1. if CCi cross back below 0 need to cut Buy
2.if Cci cross below 100 need to cut Buy
2. if cci still above 0 or 100 and rsi 14 cross below 50 need to cut buy

for Rentry
1. if rsi 14 and rsi 50 above line 55 and CCi going back cross above need to rentry buy.


Rule for Sell
1. Need Rsi 14 cross below rsi 50
2. Wait CCi 14 cross below 0 then entry Sell

for exit Sell
1. if CCi cross back above 0 need to cut sell
2.if Cci cross above 100 need to cut sell
2. if cci still below 0 or 100 and rsi 14 cross above 50 need to cut sell

for Rentry Sell
1. if rsi 14 and rsi 50 below line 45 and CCi going back cross below need to rentry sell

You job is awesome. I am demoing two accounts in different brokers. At the moment I am in good profit but only during Europian sesion. So I get in profit during EU sesion and after that I lost every thing during Asian session. Today I start from Frankfurt and stoped on LO close. So on fyrst account with 0.10 lots I made 600 USD profit and with second account with 0.01 lots I made 60 USD. That is perfect you a genius I will continue to demoing.

your work inspired me and I have been testing some of your system. Such an amazing work. I have a little problem for this ea, seems like the parameters for "trading entry hours" is not working, or maybe i did put wrong values.
these is the values i put in the parameters
start hour: 7
end hour: 17
but the system still trade at anytime.
After a few days testing, as our friend veslup said, the best time to trade using this system is at EU session.
So I hope i can

According to your settings, I found that most of the time it was a loss, the direction is the opposite

I think it's good, but it should be improved

Thanks a lot for sharing your wonderfull trading idea. Don't give up buddy, I consider this your approach much promissing and going to try it myself with minor modifications. Let me suggest some additions which imho may improve performance:

1. News Filter. Almost any trading system (except those based on W1 & MN TF) may be ruined by news.
2. Multi Currency analyses. It may help to filter out false signals caused by spikes and datafeed noise. For example we detected that Ask for EURUSD became faster at the moment. And it is a signal to buy for simple system. It means that EUR became stronger or USD became weaker. Let us try to get some confirmation of this signal. Checking all other currency pairs containing USD and EUR we may detect similar signal of USD becoming weaker or EUR becoming stronger. Such check may be valid while some time period say 5 seconds. If we get such kind of confirmation at least from N currency pairs we may use this signal to open position. And if it is USD which is rising than it is better to find the weakest currency vs USD to make a pair to open a trade.
3. Combining Tick Scalp with valuable Support / Resistance levels and Supply / Demand zones may also filter out false signals. MP (Market Profile) may be helpful as VPOC often affect on price movement.
4. It is necessary to analyse 100+ deals generated from raw signal to know what is happening at signal moments and what factors really works together with raw Tick Scalp signal. A big and useful work...

I can not agree with you here buddy. We may obtain tick data from several sources. One of the best is Ducascopy. Each tick record contain Tick Time, Ask & Bid prices and Ask & Bid volumes which may be used also.
Of cource EA for MT4 can not be back-tested with tick history but it can be rewritten for tick file specially. Imho it is worth doing and I'll try it.

Cool concept, don't give just up yet. May have merit with some work and careful monitoring.

Curious about combining this with need4speed (based on the mid price). Just thinking out loud after watching it work some.

So I ran this a few hours today on a live account using M15 and 1H as direction filters. Of course, performance is highly broker dependent. The expert took a little over 70 trades and made a slight gain despite me trading it near the end of the NY session (a poor time to trade this imo). From my experience, the way this is setup, the expert will often load a number of positions early on in the hour. These trades typically will either get closed out on an opposite signal for a small loss if price ranges above and below the H1 open or they will hit profit if the H1 runs in any direction. One potential way to trade this is to not use a profit target, which will keep trades open until an opposite signal occurs, meaning that winners will potentially be held an hour, perhaps more, for a much larger RR. Basically, the expert will just follow the flow of the price action, having a large number of small losers and then potential huge pyramid wins when price really runs within an hour. You can see how this might add up if risking, say .25% per trade, with 10 max fills. If trading it like this, then it makes the most sense to run it when price is moving the most, i.e, London and NY sessions for EU. One does not want to trade this way when price is consolidating or hovering around the hourly open. To that end, I tried using the hour trading feature in the expert, but I do not think it is working (I input end at 23, but it took at trade at 23:00:09). Anyway, interesting bot, Khalil!

Trading hours in the settings were not used (coded) in the EA. This is an update that used the trading hours settings.

Kindly test and report any issues.

i think your ea can be very powerful but i cant find way for stay profit more time
i see ea open position sell on very low price of sell trend but in your scalp methodes , reversal trade maybe better
if can set stochastic or rsi or cci filter signal just top for sell otherway for buy , can be better probably,

Indeed your EA looks very promising - I have been running it on demo on 2 brokers since last week during London - NY sessions
Very hard though to keep it profitable most of the times.

May be you could add an option for "reversal trade" for testing purposes like Hesam Jalali proposed,
from screenshot below (today's trading session) - it may be very interesting to test it out with reverse logic

Perhaps less trading is good trading. I am going to try only trading the expert during the top three highest pip move hours of each day and then reassess before proposing any filters. That is the WmiVol indicator on the hourly if anyone wants to play.
