Very correct basket was over 400pips in profit at some point and so if you have locked in 200pips when basket was 400pips positive , you would have preserved some of your profits and not give it all back..As I suggested in my earlier post , i think it makes sense to lock half of our profits..Lock 100pips when basket is 200pips positive , lock 150 pips when basket is 300pips positive and lock 200pips when basket is 400pips positive.Apart from entries , trade management is also very crucial to the success of any strategy..

@Forexpinbar Just my suggestion but I assume the test you're doing is on a demo account and if so, I wouldn't change the system's reward to risk ratio of 5 to 2 because given that the account survives for a while, it would provide some sort of rough estimate of the win rate for this CCFp Weekly London Open system.

On the other hand, if it is a live account then I completely understand wanting to close the basket sooner once you're happy with the profit dollar amount. A few days ago I started testing on a very small live account and I've caught myself closing the basket too soon sometimes also. My reasoning for taking a more caution approach for now is that my account is severely undercapitalized but, it is the amount I'm willing to lose.

countpips: Let me know if you still have that issue ok? Now, version 9 and up I coded the EA to enable any pairs that may of been disabled in the MarketWatch window. So that should not be the issue but just in case my code is not picking it up, please check that you have all the pairs in the MarketWatch window activated.

Oh and what broker are you using. Thnx Jess

Will do. I tested it on version 11 Tuesday night and it picked up all 16 signals, so thinking that it should be ok now, but if not, i'll let you know. Thank you for your coding skills.

right click your chart. choose indicator list. choose ccfp-diff_[v2.0]

click on it and then choose Edit.

near the top of list you will see timeframe. change there.

Version 12.

Ok folks, version 12 has the following new inputs:

- SetProfitTargetsTo: Basket or Individual_Trades
This sets the stop and take basket profit values to the whole basket or to each individual trade that is taken.

The following is for the moving or trailing profit lock as specified by ForexPinBar.
-StartProfitLockAt: Set a number to this input so that the EA will know when to start and set the profit lock in pips.

-TrailingLockEvery: After reached StartProfitLockAt, the EA will use this input to determine the pip interval to see if the profit lock needs to be moved.
For example if set to 200 pips. The Ea will move the profit lock every time it calculates that a 200 pips move is made. The profit lock will be set to
HALF of the 200. etc etc.

The StartProfitLockAt and TrailingLockEvery apply to which ever group u selected with SetProfitTargetsTo. So it will either monitor the whole basket or each individual trade. In addition when SetProfitTargetsTo = Individual_Trades, the basket_take_profit is set to 0.

All these inputs are reset when the cycle begins.

Please test and let me know if these things are working.

ForexPinBar: Please add this version 12 to page 1 and keep version 11 as well.

EDIT: I forgot to mention if you set StartProfitLockAt=0 the EA will just either close the basket at basket_take_profit or if it falls to basket_stop_profit

I dont mean to be rude but Zailone i should block you from this thread because you are probably not here for the right reasons..I did not open this thread so that we can copy other people's trades..I opened this thread to share ideas and improve the CCFp weekly signals strategy..We are here on this thread to learn how to trade ourselves..If you want to be successful in this forex business , you have to learn how to trade yourself.

Your generosity towards this thread is very much appreciated..I have a suggestion that I think you may want to use to modify this version 11 of EA.....I suggest you add the following inputs in screenshots to make it easy to lock profits with the EA..I hope you consider my suggestion..Green pips to you.
