EJ update not looking good we're pressing for new highs, bears look to have all but given up the fight..
nothing I can do except watch and wait here, I'm not skilled at launching rescue missions so will look to get out as close to be if the market presents

edit stop hit -18 NEXT!

Left a ton on the table but I will be thinking about the BE in tighter or range bound markets.

This also shows why I always say that I hold price to the expectation. Who cares how far it's gone up or down if you have an expectation based on price you hold price accountable to it.

Just wanted to say thanks for starting this thread Mr. Pip. This method of reading price action has ended 6 months of slowly bleeding out. My trades are still messy, but they are slowly becoming profitable.

I ran with all sorts of indicators before, and while I wan't losing a lot thanks to risk management, spreads put me on a negative footing as wins and losses averaged out. It was pretty demoralizing.

We'll see how it goes in the long run, but this week marks the first week in awhile where I haven't given up all my gains, and the market turns somewhat where I expect it to. The only problem is that hitting exit targets has been harder. Gauging weakness vs. resting price action has been proving difficult.

Just some ideas that I still have to validate but here they are:

If price closes above the high or low of the structure then go to BE +1

If price test structure then bring stop to 1 point above or below entry candle and get to a BE +1 once price achieves a close above or below the structure tested.

I also have to see if there is any Fibonacci related ways to do it.

Would have been the best entry for the ride up.

If I remember right, you placed in the past your SL later in front of price or on a high test at most at BE+1

Great to here that your trading is heading in a better direction. Yeah Targets have been hit most of the times but been taken out before at BE quite a bit. I am looking into giving my trades more room while still being mechanical on the management to keep it consistent and emotion free. I will be working on this in the next couple of days as time permits. But lately way too many BE to still see price hit the targets. There is a revision to the rules coming.

You are correct my trade plan says +1 but I've been at +3 or +5. I've definitely been sloppy and inconsistent with it. Have to clean that up. Thanks!

I'd say the best idea would be if market closes +1 above/below previous NSH/NSL. If expectations play out 70% of the time then this is your best choice.
Al tough I have been thinking in the past about this and there have been many times when price got rejected from a previous NSx and continued on to make a change in ordeflow.
So the question that it comes down to is: Is the risk of waiting to move SL to BE worth the more frequent losses because of price getting rejected from previous NSx.

Sellers are stronger then I would like to see them but a decent area for the long and how we can use the short term to help identify areas of interest.

Well Traders looks like I won't be looking for any more entries today. I have to pick up my wife and daughter at school. Tomorrow we will look to manage trades from a BE standpoint differently but overall the reading is just amazing and on point. Keep at it and I will come back later to catch up and post. I would like to hear more about the video.

It would not be unreasonable to see the bears come in between 560-65. I already see sellers on the chart. That would be against expectations though so be careful.
