Long almost at the open. Shooting for the initial expectation of a NSH. Closed it manually because I don't like taking chances during Yellen's speech. I don't want to give up that profit. Not happy that it was a 1:1= R:R trade but better safe then sorry.

The rotation proved to be good and it tells us the the bulls are in good shape. An AB=CD is about to complete.

Hihi, would anyone take this trade?

On the main swing
Expectation: NSH
Projection: Strong
Momentum: Strong


On the correction:
Momentum: getting stronger

The answer is revealed!

A good projection should only have shallow depth. But that dang thing corrected so much. Something is already awry. Moreover, the mini swings down kept increasing its momentum.

Almost took this but the rotation was not the best. Will see if I can get better price and the bears increased there will a bit too.

I don't mind the BE they add up but we have to admit that I seem to have a magnet for them lately. The rotation was expensive and I did not have the best of room here so BE +5 was perhaps too aggressive and choked my trade. There is weakness around here and the sellers are looking to come in maybe I'll get another shot at the long.

Did you all get to see how I aligned myself with the strength of the market and did not allow the shorter term order flow screw me up?

By one point no worries I will rethink my BE in tight situations I will look at placing it below or above the entry candle But I have to look back and see it. But a beautiful entry with perfect timing so I am very pleased and NEXT.

great entry! I wonder if there is a case for when we enter at the beginning of swing (which we only know in hindsight of course) that we can be less aggressive with trade management given the entry was near to extremes even if there is a retest it is likely to give us a second opportunity to get to breakeven.

I think this is saying the same thing as you are suggesting re the entry candle here but thought I'd share anyway!
