Can I tell you a bit about the French? They can be a bolshie lot. It probably stems back to the French revolution when they guillotined their ruling classes and the peasants took over. They have being awkward and difficult down to a fine art when it suits them. On an everyday level, say they want to sell you something, hey they can speak perfect English. Now say you're not happy with what you bought and want to complain and you go back to the same person, suddenly they can't speak English anymore! Well ok, I can get by a bit in French, so I tell them in French, which I know is correct, but nah, they don't understand that either. Bastards.

At the start of the school summer holidays last year i.e. the busiest week of the year on the roads going into France, The French decided to put in place one border control guard. Just one. Now bearing in mind normally there are never any border checks going into France from the UK. There were 15 hour tailbacks on the M20 (the road to Dover), people missed their boats and spent overnight in their cars, many with young children. Bastards.

I wouldn't say the French hate the English. They're like that to everyone (possibly worse to Americans lol) including themselves.

Well you know I have a low boredom threshold and am highly sensitive to stupidity, so I think that guys who have experienced life but also have taken care of themselves are the best catch of all.

It's actually a David Lloyd and they have everything there; pools (including an outdoor pool heated to 28 degrees, yep very eco.), sauna, steam, jacuzzi. I use mainly the gym. Let's say there are some who frequent the pools because they probably would not fit into a conventional bath or shower.
