Timing of entries is very important in this strategy because on Monday I opened one basket in demo account exactly when London opened and another basket in another demo account 30minutes after London opened with same stop loss and take profit..The basket I opened 30minutes after London opened closed out for a profit of about 500pips and the one opened exactly at London open closed out for a loss...I suggest we test different times for opening the basket on Mondays and compare results..

now I looking charts,hawe idea about pivots,we can start open position on pivot when price retraces

Below are the intraday results from H4 CCFp-Diff_[v2.0] with Trade_Level = 1.

Forexpinbar sent me a PM and said it would be better if I create my own thread for several reasons so I respectfully won't post anymore in this thread but I will continue reading.

In the meantime I'll look into creating a similar CCFp thread but I don't see any of those functions in the website portal. I assume I don't have enough number of posts. In any case, that's somewhat of a task and I'll have to think about whether that's something I can take on.

That's what I was trying to say. If there's a mechanical and simple way to wait for a retracement and then enter, it would be better. But to sit in front of the screen and wait for a pullback, that defeats the purpose of the forexpinbar's idea which is to start a basket and let it play out.

close basket with something about 650 pips.200 eur profit..minus last week 80 eur so total 120 eur,wait next week.next week sl 80 eur,tp 200 eur.thanks Forexpinbar,got time till next week to watch charts to make some modification or something like that if it will bee needed

for this week if we wait gbp pairs for entry after pullback by stochastic it will bee good but by the other side jpy pairs will bee no trades,but idea is good

Pity i have seen this trade on a Wednesday so will need to wait until next Mon London Open , very interesting with CCfp-diff

Hi FriendTrend, I haven't examined the ccfp ea but the trade monitor emulates the rules that are posted in page 1.
There are two things you need to do.
1. Select the London Open hour that corresponds to your broker and place that in the input.
2. IF at the end of the week around NY close the trades are not closed you will need to manually close them (that is not programmed yet into the trade monitor EA)

Just do those two things and the EA will follow do the rest.

IF you need to you can change the day of week in the input settings and have the EA start on a different day or even a different our.
You can also change the TP and SL targets. If you are doing this and you may need to reset the EA's global variables. These global variables are what the EA uses to remember the weekly profit and when it needs to start or stop. If you need help with that let me know...

Guys, I'm getting some PMs each day asking for me to open a new thread but I mentioned in a post here that the CCFp-Diff_[v2.0] indicator is the only thing in common between Forexpinbar's Weekly London Open system and mine.

I started testing CCFp-Diff_[v2.0].ex4 as a guide for selecting which pairs to trade but you will still have to trade that pair the way you trade. If I open a thread about different uses of CCFp-Diff_[v2.0] indicator, that by itself isn't going to help you with actually trading that pair because there is no way I can or will explain actually trading that pair.

The user bloodpoodle summarizes with the signature: "The only system that will work is one designed by and for yourself." There are very smart programmers in several forums and without their intelligence and ability, nothing would be possible for any of us. Their genius forces them to create many tools. Therefore, as you go through the journey of learning trading, you might put together a system that works for you.

Aside from that, I'm a United States citizen and there might possibly be legal issues with instructing to someone how to actually trade since it might be considered "financial advice." I think something like that would require disclaimers at minimum, and a CTA license to be extra cautious.

My reason for posting in the first place was said in my first post here: "The point is to show that basket trading on a fixed number of pairs or, pairs provided by CCFp-Diff_[v2.0].ex4 for example, can be a good idea." I am still testing different uses of CCFp-Diff_[v2.0].ex4 and if I come up on a method of using it to better time entry and or better time exit or, as a guide for selecting more tradable pairs that is in any way meaningful or helpful, I will certainly make a post about it and if it is unique from the other CCFp threads that it needs its own thread, I would create a new thread to discuss it.
