Awesome results pinbar - thanks for posting / all your input

A few questions if you have time:

A) Do you consider upcoming news before trading a basket?

B) Whats your TP goal in basket pips - any fixed or are you using "gut feeling" or other TP method?

C) Have you ever had a full agreement of the 2 indicators, where the Excel did not agree?
(What I am thinking, the excel might not be needed if the Excel always agree when the 2 indicators also agrees...)

Keep it up ranking in those green pips!

Thank you for the compliments..Well as far as news is concerned I dont look at the news and I trade the signals as they come whether there is news or not.FYI I am still learning this method , I am not a pro yet so I am experimenting with different stop loss and take profit.With time I will be able to identify which one works well for me..Yes I have had a full agreement of the 2 indicators where Excel agrees most of the time.

Are you using MqlTick and a change in volume to count ticks? If not can you throw a clue? How do you account for heavy volume times when it may exceed data transfer times? Or is this an acceptable buffer? Sharing a little code would be helpful.

I don't care about change in Volume,but remember tick by tick collection could slow down your Excel speed,and it is not a matter of CPU Usage % or RAM
Lately ,I've started collecting datas using small time intervals.

OK so you collect price data at smaller time intervals? I am confused. "tick" represents a completed transaction. "volume" is the total lots. The number of ticks in a minute can vary a lot. How can you collect tick counts on intervals? I cannot figure out how to do this without having an indicator try to count them live and separate sales from quotes via volume.

I don't think the bourne saves ticks, he saves instead strength and gaps every XX ms.

Hi kdaawwgy,

I had the same problem and found a solution a few pages back, I think you need to change your settings for Excel;

"in case you live in Europe pay attention to decimal separator it should be dot (.) not comma (,):
through excel 2007 <
file - option - advanced : (chkbox) - Use system separator - uncheck - Decimal separator below enter value ".""

Hello guys, I hope you all had a great day. Actually there are many trading opportunities almost every day also for manual trading. However our robot is doing a very good job.

My favorite pair today:

Average something like 7 pips / trade. Not that bad!
