I am still waiting for reversal and short. But it doesn't look well yet.

GAP closed

After reaching the support 10460, the price has as 1st resistance 11521 and 2 11549. The bear extensions 1º 11443 and 2º 11402

Dax has pulled back ~430 pts from its recent highs, but US indices are very near their ATHs.
ES is holding above 2284, which represent breakout from recent consolidation, and as long as they just sit there it is bullish.
If they continue to just go sideways/up, DAX will play catchup.
Maybe now DAX will try to reach 550/570.

Cash index close 510 cleared (505 futures), now IF they clear futures settlement quickly, go over the gap, I expect stops triggered and move to 550

Ha! Well, well.... They droped from the gap to the point... Still DAX is underperforming... Jan 17 low at 11,424 maybe next.

Although in the short term we are in a bearish movement, in the long term the price guideline is bullish, with some shade, in TF 4H if the candle closes below the level 61.8 may be a 1st signal of weakness of the trend.

If anything, seems like volatility is back, at least for now. And although you can say for every move that it is "just filling the gap" or "just retesting whatever"... the way the instrument do that can be very different. Average 15 min candle for DAX in January is 14 points only. Now look at the Jan 2016 - very different story.

Look at 15 min candles yesterday - we had that XXXL 90 points green candle, when they were going up for the gap - and that was the biggest one, even though DAX finished the day deep in red. And one red of 60 points. Both of them much larger than Jan average. So, is the volatility back, can we go back to the daily ATR of 150-180 points like in November? Since Dec and Jan was pretty much bullshit. What do you think?
