This EA tested in Friday. But it did not open any trade because " broker time" freeze at 22:03. Restart trminal and re-setup EA did not fix the problem.

You should attach to chart with indicator CCFp and put in setup day and time to open position in accordance with the indicator

I tried to have the EA run on daily timeframe for ccfp and set it to start at london time on Friday(today). I had the EA set to the demo server time of 10am for london open and the EA tried to open trades at 3am with errors. So no trades were initiated. Can anyone explain the error messages? {image} {image}
meepstone thank you for finding this issue. Unfortunately I cannot do much about this particular error.
This error points to this ERR_OFF_QUOTES, which means that when the EA tried to initiate a trade the quote was not at the correct price and then the broker server denined the trade transaction. I have no ability to tell the broker server what it can or cannot do. What I can offer is to provide more slippage and see if the broker will accept the request in this fashion.
I can also delay the trade like... using a limit order. I will look into this issue and try to solve it the best I can. The good thing about this is that since we are dealing with daily and weekly one time trades that slippage will not be an issue. Even a deal will not greatly affect this approach.

This is one of the many reasons I like this approach and decided to create a simple EA. It simple rocks.

Hi thnx for helping out. First of all I need more information. If the broker time freeze then it may be that you reached the end of Friday?? Otherwise it means that the EA does not go that far as to update the hour and minute, so something is not letting the EA continue to that part of the code. That something could be some error that was introduced.

I need to see your EXpert Tabs, that has alot of information and many times it tells u exaclty what happened with the EA. Please display that.


Folks when u find an error please tell me what broker you are dealing with and show me the Expert tabs. This will allow me to use your broker and see if I can get the SAME erorrs plus the Experts tab (which is really the logs) can tell use right away what a problem may be. not always but when it does man we can get things fixed in a gif!!

My broker is ICMARKET. Expert tab - "2017.02.05 00:30:10.187 xm7_Ccfp_Wkly_TradeMonitor_v6 EURUSD,Daily: zero divide in 'xm7_Ccfp_Wkly_TradeMonitor_v6.mq4' (287,75)"
I put EA in work early morning in Friday.

Update version 7
Due to a report that the EA was not showing display and that it would affect other trades that are not part of the magic number. This version
now makes the EA:

- More selective on handling it's trades. Even if you enter a MagicNumber of 0 the EA will now ONLY monitor or close the trades that it made.

- Add more informative text for when a user does not place the ccfp indicator on the chart. In the previous version the EA would just make a comment that there was no ccfp indicator and stop doing anything. Now it will tell the user if the indicator not present and that once loaded to restart the EA. I also added a note that the original ccfp indicator can also be used. I tested this and it works.

EDIT: Error in line 287 of code has been fixed (thnx osteo99). EA now detects the correct number of open trades that belong to it.

I recommend that everyone use this version so that your other trades will not be affected.

Awesome!!! now I can go directly to the code and SEE why it is not working. BTW just FYI the line that I am interested in is line 287. column 75. That us where the error happens .

Let me look at this and I will get back with ya.

Hi all..I will be glad if a coder or programmer or anyone else can answer this one question about the CCFp indicator..Ever since I have been trading the signals generated by CCFp indicator for 3 months , I have never received EUR/USD signal and it beats my thoughts and keep asking myself why..I will be very pleased if someone can look into this issue and give me an appropriate answer..Thank you all..

Open up a weekly EU chart and see for yourself. EU has been in a tight range relative to other pairs for almost the last year. The indicator points out pairs that are trending relative to the others. Hence EU will not be highlighted.
Remember, Red. Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things...
@Forexpinbar Adding to ForexFury's comment, EURUSD is considered in the indicator and the indicator does give a signal for EURUSD if the parameter Trade_Level is changed from 2 to 1 in the default settings.

@Forexpinbar I'm also using Trade_Level = 2. This setting did provide pairs for trading on Thursday but it didn't provide any pairs for trading on Friday. I would like to be active so I am plenty happy with it as long as it provides a trading opportunity at least 3 days out of a given week.
