Please in EA ver 5 test how trades open. Today i try to setup Ea to open positions at london session. But Ea open them as i run it - 1 h 12 min before

@xmess7 thanks for the valuable insights.

I was not able to forward test on day 2 because of issues on my demo computer. Moving forward, I am running only 3 instances of MT4 on my demo computer so hopefully things won't get locked up again.

Below are the results of trading the intraday pairs provided by the CCFp-Diff_[v2.0].ex4 indicator. Moving forward, since I'm redoing the forward test, I've made some changes to Forexpinbar's weekly system including trading intraday and using a changeable profit target depending on the intraday basket.

Forexpinbar, my forward test and your weekly system only have the CCFp-Diff_[v2.0].ex4 indicator in common for pair and direction selection so let me know if I should not post the forward test results here. My plan was to see if the intraday method is providing any advantage over the original weekly system. In any case, here's day 1 results from the intraday forward test.

Ok I'll look into it. According to the inputs you setup, the EA should open trades on Thursday at about 09:05-09:10 (5 minute window). Question is 09:05 the broker time for GMT time or is 7:40 the broker GMT equivalent?

Good job TGS..Keep testing and share your results with us..Maybe we can add your strategy to our trading arsenal specifically for day trading or scalping only if it has proven to be profitable for at least 3 months..That doesnt mean that we will throw my strategy out the window..I will continue trading my strategy because It has proven to have a lot of potential..Yours will be an addition if it has proven to be successful for at least three months..I appreciate your contribution to this thread..Keep it up.

Hi Forexpinbar ,
If your system rules is tp 500 pips & sl 200 pips then why you exit before meet the condition , as I saw your statement . So Can you please describe more about the rules ???
Also please clear about 500 & 200 pips sl tp , Is it 5 digit broker I mean If we take a Buy/long trade at eur/usd 1.0500 then Can I set TP 1.1000 & SL 1.0300 ?????

@Namor are you meaning which pairs were traded for intraday?

As Forexpinbar suggested, 3 months of forward testing is a minimum amount of time needed in order to see if things are likely to continue and as you can see, it's only been one day. In any case, attached picture shows the pairs selected by CCFp-Diff_[v2.0].ex4 intraday.

Why do you have 14 trades per pair? These are my pairs selected by CCFp-Diff_[v2.0].ex4 . It does not look like yours.

@Namor The 14 trades isn't anything fixed by definition; they are just multiple entries which I assume a lot of traders do. About your screenshot, I've got mine set to 240 minutes (default indicator values). In other words, I'm using H4 to provide intraday pair selection and direction.

Since 4 hours changes every... well 4 hours, what is the time you begin trading mate?

@AcerPhoon Forexpinbar is using IC Markets and they're on GMT+2 so I'm using the 0700 GMT+2 H4 candle. For Friday, there were no signals provided by this candle so there were no trades on the demo forward test. From what I've observed so far, this candle provides the best signal for intraday given my timezone.

Hi all..Thank you all for your contributions and suggestions on this thread..I have seen quite a number of EAs that were coded to trade this strategy...The EA will come in handy even though this a once a week strategy.It doesnt hurt to let a robot open the basket when we are away from the computer lol.Can someone please send me the final bug free version of EA for this strategy because it seems there a quite a number of EAs on this thread..And it would be great if EA can show the maximum profit and maximum loss for the basket positions that will be opened on Monday.EA shouldn't reset the maximum profit and maximum loss the next day until the following week..This way , we can find the most suitable stop loss and take profit levels for this system..Thank you all for your contributions and green pips to us all..

I tried to have the EA run on daily timeframe for ccfp and set it to start at london time on Friday(today). I had the EA set to the demo server time of 10am for london open and the EA tried to open trades at 3am with errors. So no trades were initiated. Can anyone explain the error messages?
