Strange , it hit the take profit of ABCD , instead my broker excute my breakeven for 2 pips + and didnt excute my take profit , it hit take profit with before NFP news Spikes and after .

Humm , no issue , first time i see this , im with them since several years but this not normal for me.

I din trade. The nfp is crazy. Don't dare to trade. Maybe there was not enough order to fill your trade.

Thanks for the information , yes I believe so , but since i trade harmonic i noticed news respected very well too , so I do trade before ,during and after news , just i reduce risk before news come out.

Same when i used to trade support resistance for 4H and higher time frame in past, but ived notice harmonic has more accuracy

I switched to the NQ because I got annoyed with the small ranges that YM was trading in last week. NQ always moves and even though PA is more volatile, for the same amount of risk or less than I was using on YM, the reward seems to be bigger.

I haven't incurred any losses because I haven't even put on any trades due to being confused with the PA.

We'll see how today goes, and I'll be taking a closer look over the weekend to see why I've been struggling.

Evo - NQ is the Nasdaq future. US500 sounds like it's the ES, not sure what NQ is in the cfd.

if you are short your TP is a buy order, meaning it will execute at the ask price.
MT4 charts are bid charts, so even if the bid price reaches your TP, depending on current spread at the time, it is likely that the ask price was still trading above your buy limit.

When trading long, your TP is a sell order, meaning you get the bid price, so if price crosses that line on your charts (bid charts) then it will execute.

Took this trade based on 1min volume after news. I saw buyers at 50%. Out based on 1:1 ABCD Symmetrical extension. +27

Especially when your TP was only passed by a wick, it can happen that it does not trigger (do not know if filled is the right word when you want to exit). Moreover, if it is in a key area, spread will increase and maybe your TP was not really hit (only by the spread).
In futures it can also happen (but not the spread part) that you not exit where you wanted, but I guess it is less frequent.

Hello traders!

I made this summary... anything else i missed?

Some explanation about it, eg
1) Are we trading against expectations? If Yes, then give weightage to "Trading with Expectations".
2) Is momentum strong? If Yes, then give weightage to "Trading with Expectations"

So in the end, we can enter trades by NOT MISSING OUT any important factors.

Potential entry to short EURUSD.

1) Price was going up. The expectation was a NSH.

2) However, price entered into a complex correction.

3) And the corrective depth was nearly 100% before it rebounded up.

4) Further, the last swing (down) came in such force that it seems imminent that we could have an expectation failure.

5) Thus we got that expectation failure.

6) Now looking for short. Do not expect price to correct very far as the last swing down was forceful. (Normally after expectation failure we will get a deep correction).

There is not much in the was of news today and the outlook is bearish today with price breaking structure to the downside. Expectation is for a NSL. Let's see how the battle plays out today.

Remember the live stream is coming up on the 21 of Feb. I want to see everyone there.
