This news was more or less right inline. No expectations were changed by this data. We are still awaiting fiscal policy specifics from the new US regime bf USD moves may resume. Your expectation of a 1-to-1 rate-differential response will ultimately be reflected in the price, but not necessarily in the moment of the news. News trading is a painfully dangerous game. I agree with TudorIoan never has been a good Idea to place trades ahead of the NFP. Too many spikes and spreadwidening .

Thanks for your insight. Why then momentum of the price in the moment of news revelation is this or that if it does not really matter in longer term (even in few days term) this price is going DOWN in some time, but why the immediate direction went so UP? Maybe answer of this question is complex but still I think worth asking.

As soon as one 15m candle closed above it we can see the speed coming.. it happens a lot to me..

Updated my previous plan.. made some minor changes but the big picture still fits..

(Also should answer Not-KPMG's question): I will try to stay in as much as I can..

Important: The only thing that makes me careful is the hidden divergence: We have new high on MACD but no new high on candles yet.. so I am aware of that and will close quick as soon as I see signs of bearish power kicking in.

For many reasons depending on your TF. ST, not the least of which was to trap those who are making a weak or premature short news trade based on the the positive NFP print (with the logic that this print favors a future FED rate increase). Considering the null FED news earlier this week, market uncertainty and with E/U being within the confines of the pullback from mid-Dec, bulls remained driving despite the news - so snapping back up from an inline print is not surprising. A test of the new high from yesterday may provide the entry you were looking for originally if it fails.
