Hi Guys

My first post here on this thread asking for some help please

I tried to use this Alert Function for the TDI Cross of the green and red line but his indicator I found here doesn't work.

I have few questions if you don't mind, this is great example for my questions...

You decided that you want to be buyer and i wonder how you doing it further:

1.where were you sl and how much you risk in % of account on that first entry?

2.what happens next? you are adding re-entries....how much you risk per entries both on % of account and pips risk? What are you doing when market turns,are you cuuting sl or you just leave when sl is getting hit?

3.Lets say market go against you,how much DD you are willing to close in all positions per account (in %)?

4.How much did you profit overall in this cycle?

5.Is there time cycle that you want to close all positions regrding what market doing?

Yes that was one thing I realised but I have a feeling it will rise now. Due to where i live I follow the EUR/CHF very closely and I know that the SNB secretly intervene in the movments of this currency

2) If a cross of Tdi is over 68 level or under 32 level,u take that signal?

3) Stochastic is useful or I can use only Tdi?

Interesting !!!!

ME/ME back testing for NZD/USD from 1st of Jan 2016 - 15th of April 2016.

Trading plan

1. Put the trade when H4, D1, W1 point to the same direction ( H4, D1 TDI cross )
2. Unless W1 is point to different direction against initial direction, keep adding positions when it retrace with 1/2 ADR for pair with maximum 3 .
3. Take a profit whenever it reached around 50 pips.
4. cut loss 6% of balance or when W1 change direction.
5. Trade with 0.01 nano lot

Limitation :

1.Since it's back-testing I couldn't look at different TF.
2. I only tested NZD/USD. So do not know how other currency behave for ME/ME back testing. ( Maybe some other members can try this ?)

I am thinking that ME/ME is doable but it require mental fineness. Some basket of trade last more than 10 days with negative profit. Must practice cut loss without emotion. That is my weakest point. There were three occasions that I had to cut loss on this back testing.

Observation :

Even with Big spike, if I put the positions with W1 trend, I got out with positive pips.

It looks like fining trending market is critical, otherwise will wipe out account balance.

Entry conditions

Scalping -
Long = Green over Red,
Short = Red over Green

Active
Long = Green over Red & Yellow lines
Short = Red over Green & Yellow lines

Moderate
Long = Green over Red, Yellow, & 50 lines
Short= Red over Green, Green below Yellow & 50 line

Yes, I take trades even when the TDI is overbought OB above 68 level and oversold OS below 32 level.
When I do this, I look at the higher timeframe to make sure that there is a strong trend in the higher timeframe.
The TDI is based on RSI data. The RSI is an oscillator and all oscillators are useful in ranging market. Oscillators are of no use in trending market.


3) Stochastic is useful or I can use only Tdi?
First you master the art of trading with Price Action at Support/Resistance PASR and let the TDI be the confirmation of the price momentum. When you have mastered trading PASR with the TDI, the Stochastic is not required.
