BigE the OP of Trading Made Simple did not use SL or TP. I did not code those indie - only scratched around inside

i think the positions closed when the price cross again the moving everage... have also TP but i have to check again to see how is work ... but i didn't any sl ... i hope you can code it .... looks very promising... regards

In a nutshell
post#6 - Entries and exits...
We Enter a trade when green crosses red on the TDI at the beginning of that candle... If it's candle 3 or more don't enter... find another trade set up. The only exception is if green bounces off red and continues... it's ok to re-enter on the bounce...
Exit your trade when the green TDI line goes flat, starts to hook over or makes a check mark reversal.
If you add other things it will influence your decisions... usually to your detriment. Don't try to complicate it thinking it can't be this easy.
Important to study TDI entries on old charts, any time frame... Give yourself a chance and trade it like it's laid out...

Your safest trades will always be when green crosses red and you enter on candle 1 or 2... odds are in your favor. Why? Because I'm expecting 3-8 candles... which is average...
With bounce trades the odds are lower for your success... but it still works.
When wanting to enter a TDI trade... take a moment first to observe basic 4x things... like:
How close am I to the previous high or lo
Am I in an uptrend or downtrend.. short & long term...
Am I in or close to a consolidation area
Are the previous candles small...
Look at the candles on the last reversal... big, little, what
How does the momentum look right now (12-2, 4-6)
Does Stoch's confirm the TDI signal
Sounds like a lot of stuff but it's basic stuff and only takes a moment to observe it

sorry because of the video unclear is hard to check how is work ... but i'm still find out. They used only trading stop and change to buy or sell when the candle cross the 2 Moving Average... maybe we can start here to see if it's can be code and work ?

having a battle to duplicate renko charts for back-testing that Renko EA I have posted awhile ago.
Google only leads to more confusion.
a simply script that will convert M1 to M2 renko and then replace the old M1 with the new history file (M2)

Hi, nice strategy, but there is too much loosing areas. It couldn't be profitable with standard settings.
But.. I changed MA2 setting and added MA50 as a filter, now it better.

And TP for UJ is for ex. 8 pips + spread, it's less than 10 pips. Is it profitable? I think - yes.

ps. from 11 january - 38 tardes trades, all profitable x 8 pips = 304pips.
