Every time I swear, when I place a trade they all go down the pub.

Strangely also in 2hours time I'll get bored exit for -3pips, and within 2mins they'll be back and run it up 20pips, errrrrr

But :-

24hour SMA support is failing and 30min SMA showed resistance so short term downtrend here, doh!!!!

May the record show I bailed for -5 at 1.2859, at 23:48:33 GMT.


30 pip upmove expected real soon.

Aye trading is very thin so I'm not worried. When tue rolls round in usa and everyone back from the weekend we should start seeing what way the market feels.

A 1hour 15min hold for -5pips, doesn't really work for me.

Holiday season is over, back to more sustainable longer moving trends, which might be easier to see

I bought (again) @ 1.28060. If it starts going under the 1.28 Im gonna close out all my longs.

I'm expecting a major downturn for Eur/Usd, just not sure WHEN. I'm buying at 2780 expecting only 20 (safely). Stronger support / resistance 2700 / 2947. When it reaches one of these levels, I'll enter and hold for awhile.

As far as I can make out the only reason for the fall in Eur/Usd at the mo is the reaction to the eur/yen. Anyone else have any reasons???

Navy, I too, expect a major turn down, this could be the start of it.

First day typically they've not let it creap up in the AM then sell off in the evening in ages.


I thought it was some JPY news / Rally, from what I read on the FXCM news feed last night.

I have an entry at 1.2750, which is the bottom of the current range the pair is stuck in. If it breaks below 2750, then further downside is probably exposed. The eur/jpy crashed today which I think contributed heavily to the pair's fall. However, in my opinion, I think there will be a turnaround pretty soon, in at least the eur/usd. 4hr and 1hr are both oversold, and the euro retail sales was much stronger than expected. While the other indices declined , a slowdown was expected.

Lol, I started a demo with FXCM's fixed rate options program....just for fun. Ordered a DNT option with 2800 and 2880 as the upper and lower bound; expires tomorrow morning. Think it'll hang in there?

As I post this thread, i'm watching that eur/usd is begin to correct south.
As I mention at my previous thread, I still hold my short on eur/usd with TL@ 1.2500

All I see in daily chart is bearish for eur/usd and gbp/usd...just check for these pairs in couple weeks...
