simply trade with TDI cross and TDI bounce, you will lose more than you win.

how can trading be made simple?
many get fooled by this thread title Trading Made Simple and some people especially newbie traders telling us to keep it simple.
keep it simple and you will still lose your hard-earned money.

learn to pick the A+++ trade setups and learn to reduce the number of losing trades if you want to have a better win rate.

Edit: here below repeat what I said before:

Too much time is being spent on TDI and Stochastics,
Too little time time on Price Action and Support/Resistance.
And no time spend on Money Management, Risk Management for entries and exits, When and How to Let Profits Run.
You need to find your WINNING EDGE and the TDI is not in the winning edge equation.

Hello emmanuel, could you give the specifics about your settings? I am confused about what is 10, 5 ,3 1 7. I am using RSI 13 period with 2 sma and 7 sma (I use mt5).
Also want to thank you about John Hayden material you posted. I have read some days ago and this changed the way I see the indicator - RSI is nice por support, resistance and trend determination.

Sorry to disappoint all you folks looking for a new trading system. The trading method is here ... the 5-Method, and you must master this method first. Its all in Post#261 and Post#647. Big E showed us how he cut losses with the TDI exit. Did he teach us how to "let profits run".

Big E mentioned many things in all his 1485 posts here in FF.
If we take each of his post like one piece of a big puzzle and complete the 1485 pieces of puzzle ,
will we see the picture?
what picture do you see or expect to see?
there are many missing pieces and the reason why some many traders failed to make money trading the 5-Method with TDI entry and exit.

the puzzle is missing another 6,000 pieces.

..short term trend is down, long term trend is also down (Post#647 as pre-trade checklist)

I keep some simple rules for trading:
If I want to take counter trend trades, the probability is 20%. (Plan A)
If I take follow the trend trades, the probability is also 20%. (Plan B)
The other 60% is market will go nowhere.

I don't want to get into a fight over this. This PLAN, BUILD and RUN project does not belong in eelfranz thread. This PLAN, BUILD and RUN project is emmanuel7788 and belongs in its own thread. All it will do is cause confusion and fights. But that's up to you. I thought you have more respect for eelfranz.

There is no fight started. We can have robust discussions and be civil like grown up adults.
The project has not even started. Just to know those who want to lean something more to add to their trading knowledge and gain new experience. We do this in the past year and there is TMS-II developed in 2013 which is not shared here. There is project TMS-EVO completed last year also not shared here but only among those who work among themselves.These are projects done privately at the sidelines with active TMS traders not in this thread. PLAN, BUILD and RUN will be the project for 2017. All projects and development kept the basics of the 5-Method as the core trading methodology in remembrance of eelfranz and his legacy.

I do have a lot of respect for Eric and learn a lot about him reading what he shared in FF and how he evolved as a trader.
There are many missing pieces because he passed away 5 years ago. Since then, people come and go. I seen the lot - good, bad and ugly. All hindsight traders who only post winning trades, never honest to share what their win rates were and only write claims in words. The worst kind are those who posted marked up charts with fake trades. Everyone who came, told stories of their success and make it look easy that this thing call Trading Made Simple really can make money. The hard truth is many lost money over time. What it the WINNING EDGE in this business? If the TDI is the WINNING EDGE, many people will be very wealthy. Many still do not understand what is meaning of WINNING EDGE in this brutal market. Someone who has only 18 moths trading experience and 4 months trading with TDI is ranting that we should follow only what we learn from Big E and we should not do things he did not write here in FF, by doing everything Big E said will make us profitable traders. He is naive and blind.

By the way, are you trading this 5-Method by eelfranz? What is your experience and how profitable is your trading?

Hi emmanuel. This is what all this fighting and negative come from.
It is for the member to decided if he wants to learn "let profits run"
When he is ready for that then he can go over to a brand spanky new thread that you have created and learn about it or any other advance topic.

I found this thread by accident
I wanted to find my feet by following a simple method.
I am not ready for advance forex trading.
If and when I am ready to learn more then I can move to a more advance thread.

Please please just let me learn BigE's Trading Made Simple the way he has laid it out.
EURGBP on the rise - +10 pips so far. I will hold out and see how much further it goes but will exit the trade if it pulls back to break even

Entry selection should confluence with many different factors then I guess there is high probability. (IMHO)

You can start by sharing with charts and explain Big E' Trading Made Simple how he has laid out.
We shall see if you and I are on the same page reading and interpreting Big E every post and applying onto charts.

Is this one way to move forward from here since you are very new to trading and only 4 months into TMS' 5-Method.

I am sure you know that "let profits run" is not what I created. You must have heard of "cut losses short" and "let profits run".

You want a simple method, you found it here. So let's trade this simple method with trades on charts.

Well, Big E did mention a few times that he sees each swing is 3 to 8 candles. That was the market condition during those years between 2008 to 2010. Is this 3 to 8 candles per swing rule true in every timeframe? Is this a rule true in today market condition after 2012? That rule apply to only those 8 pairs Big E traded. He did not trade many of the volatile pairs like the EUR and GBP crosses. Do we restrict our trading to only those 8 pairs?
I see there are exception to this 3 to 8 candles. There are many situations when the swing last 15 to 20 candles. The way to see this large swings is to look at the price action and where the support and resistance levels are . Also I look at the long term trend or the range when the market is sideways. We do have very wide range sideways market. When you look at support and resistance, you will see often when the market breaks support it falls into empty space. The same when it breaks resistance, it rallies into empty space. Empty space is where we do not see previous price action PPA. On the D1 chart, if you do not see PPA in the previous 2 months, the market tends to trade into the empty spaces when the fundamentals and market sentiments in favour.
Look at GBPUSD, GBPAUD, GBPCAD and GBPNZD. These are potential pairs for making lots of money in the coming weeks and months. Just keep following these pairs every day until that happens. I want to make my bonus for 2017 with these pairs.

which last reversal was he referring to? many traders get this wrong.

and what is big, little or what when he referred to candles.

you have nothing to proof to anyone here. we all can read and we can discern based on what we read.
