And a result of being impatient with the trades. EG was ranging within 7 pips for more than an hour after I took it. I got bored and closed it then it dropped like a rock in the next minute and would have hit my target @ 6R pretty easily.

MM's like symmetrical markets (normal distribution on market profile) as they can balance their books and not have a bias or have to go buy hedges.
Institutions like asymmetrical markets where there is an imbalance (b or P shape in market profile) as then the markets are unbalanced and will need to correct.

That's a really good setup imho. On your EJ chart, I had a sell limit order @ 122.200, it missed the entry point by 2 pips.

I didn't notice this before on M1. I actually have taken the trade but looking to bail out for a little profit or loss. If you see the M1, the level has already been tested after the engulf. It might still work though.

Just a quick question. Are QM on higher timeframes such as 4hr and above more reliable than in lower timeframes?

Cause i see that there are also many QM levels in the daily timeframe but it has bigger SL levels and TP levels. But youll probably have to wait longer to TP

In my opinion they are. The only issue is That your SL might be too big. So I heard some people drop to LTF to look for a better entry.

Technically is a QM, but if you go to a HTF you will see that you have a major one right above which is not fresh. So price might just break through.

didn't know this had a name, ive used it for a while now... if it coincides with my other way of calculating levels then i like a very tight stop...

like this on GU - i sold it at 1.2670 today...

and if that TL breaks... uh oh

but watch out for Trump and May tomorrow, i took a long now at 1.2583 with stop at 1.2575

Interesting, hadn't looked at the daily.

There is an opportunity for it to go long at say 1.24200 to 1.24300 if they so desire.
