Hi, I call this pattern an "Up and Under" (I'm a rugby fan) but you may have seen it with other names, "Quasimodo" on RTM, or as an "Over and Under pattern" explained very well by Steve at NBT.

Call it whatever you want, but if you're looking for a price pattern to trade you might want to give it a look.

It's a very simple pattern so it's easier if I explain by charts, but obviously there are discretionary variables with the pattern that will be different for every trader so this thread is really a 'pattern promo' if you like, then you guys find out what works for you and hopefully go make some money.

I hope traders who already trade this pattern will share their insights.

I've tried to use recent PA in these examples, I use the M30.

The charts

Don't expect them all to work, they don't, but often if you're willing to be bold you can have a go at getting back what you've lost. This is calculated, it's not a revenge trade.

I love clean charts, and clean price action trading. Quasimodo trading as others like to call it, very nice,I hope this thread is seen by other traders especially new ones before they see indicators... keep it up

Hi, I only use horizontal lines and sound alerts. The pretty colours on the example charts are just there to help show the different segments of the set-up.

Tu es vraiment un recidiviste?

Exactly AmirShahiN! the Risk to Reward ratio is often very good. No one likes to take a hit, but we have to accept that it's going to happen, if we can keep it small so much the better.

Please feel free to post any of your set-ups using this pattern.

Hi Amir, this type of move is very often in the market to take as many stops as possible before a proper move is made.
