What a bad day yesterday, closed my longs with loss, and seeing going up 200 pips...too bad

I hope it goes back down as well, but equities keep rising, its hard to make it fall

I too think that the pair will go down for now. I have a short with target at 114.00.

Good morning. Trade in the direction of the longer trend. To find out what that is you need to know the direction as you said of equities ad other currencies. You might have the short term trend however equities will sell off quite soon. By only trading in the direction of the longer term trend you do not get whipsawed.

Okay..I have a basic understanding about correlations but maybe you guys can enlighten me...I have had my ass kicked the last day on JPY crosses and it seems like USD/JPY completely ruled over the crosses no matter what happened with EUR or GBP. EUR/USD and GBP/USD could tank but EUR/JPY and GBP/JPY kept throttling up following USD/JPY. Was it just Yellen sending up USD killing JPY across the board? Thanks for any input...longtime demo trader but still shaky live trader...

hallo people. touched 115.50 just now, triggering as what i viewed as sell spot. had sl at +116.xx. gotta close some in green now and keep some as i'm looking at a possible retest 114 area, if pa in few hours would let it. lower would confirm the train downwards.
anyway, trade safe guys.

Good rally on the USDJPY but the current daily candle is showing a long upper shadow, which is an indication that the pair may drop back down to the 114.00 zone.
