USD/JPY is forming a base at the current level at 114.50... hopefully this zone will hold up any further decline.

The pair is consolidating for the moment, but I think it will drop to 114.00 once it breaks below 114.60.

One key to trapping USDJPY this week is to note that the price action is respecting a descending trendline after reaching a significant retracement level on the weekly time frame. See the chart below.

If you draw it strictly across wicks. Some of which are important and some of which are just weak hands getting squeezed.

Although I do see other support turned to resistance:

hello people! seems 114 holds it atm. im seeing weekly is lookin bearish, daily is barely bearish as lots of bull sentiments fight back on this 114 spot. hmm.. no clear trigger right now so im better off to bed. tc

USD/JPY briefly dipped below 114.00 today before rebounding from 113.62. For now it's consolidating above 114.00, I think a more decisive breakout below that level will be a signal for a drop towards 113.00 - 112.80.
