Hi Guys Happy New Year to you all may it be a prosperous New Year trading. Sorry I have been absent for so long but since we created our "Feel The Force" trading room I've spent my spare time in there with some fellow traders having fun and trading as we go. Trading can be a lonely game so its nice having some like minded traders for company and to bounce ideas off of etc. One of the things we have recently started doing is posting videos to help each other understanding our strategies , even recording "live" trading sessions to help each other...

You should check out Slack.com for a trading room instead of skype, i have used it before for that purpose, its free and great for discussing trades. Kind of like a private forum

Oh i almost forgot... You mentioned in the video, that waiting for a retrace before we enter might be a good idea, and i think it is! its filtering out even more bad trades. So additionally to the ranges, i am always waiting for a retrace between 50 and 100% of the signal candle before i wait for the break of that candle to enter.

Have a look at these 2 examples, where we see the Candle that crosses the MA and changes its color, followed by a retrace and a break of the range: (green lines are marking the entry and the SL:

I still got about 10 great trading opportunities on average within the london session, despite the filter.

Hello guys,
I rarely post here, but allways looking for new ideas... Ones I studied all thread, then joined skype trading room.
The biggest ptoblem for me now is to identify when LWMA has the right angle... It would be very helpfull if someone could post an indicator showing the slope of it.
Anybody has such one?...

Regarding the MA in Color

I am thinking that an Alert built into the MA in Color so that when it changes color an alert pop up with sound could be a nice feature with the benefit of not having to always be at the computer screen.

Any thoughts on that?

This should satisfy your needs. It has been created by mladen over at Forex-TSD. In-built alert function and pretty much everything is customizable.

HI all
It takes an eternity as usual but I kept reading. ÂÂI will join in Skype. ÂÂHope we are all mute and we have only one speaker though to avoid the problem mentioned in this thread back in 2015 will happen again. Like most of this forums I saw a lot of fighting going on. What a shame wasting time fighting instead of collaborating as Clive and others suggest.
I haven't figured out yet what the latest indicators are what once I figure it out i will be happy to help honest newcomers and leverage those who know more than I do

Aldo I am a BA it and used to do programming so I offer my services on thatÂÂ

Just want to talk about entries for a bit as a safe entry is paramount to a successful trading strategy... First of all let me share my philosophy about trading as it explains the reasons behind my entry method. I believe price can only go up or down so our job is to find a chart that is plainly going one way then look for the ideal place to join that trend. Now bear in mind it can only go up or down then all we have to do is find a way of identifying a turn back with the trend... Seems simple enough doesn't it?? Well if you look at any chart with...

But how would you describe the exit. In this thread post I am not sure where Clive exits. Will keep readingÂ
I assume when the ma changes colorÂ
Also I assume change in colour means waiting for the previous candle to close.Â

{quote} Hi Kwinwls We sort of already have one as the 175 has an alert on it when it changes colour and if you look at a chart when the price crosses it so the 35 lwma crosses it, as that happens the 175 changes colour and so alerts me to the crossover... {image} Clever stuff ehh??? So thanks for the suggestion but I think we've got it covered try it and see what you think??

Â
HI guys this is around post 8300s
Â
In this image what I see is a BE or a loss not a valid successful traders as Clive claims. I refer to the long entry after 35 Crosses 175 and the arrow shows the move up. Around 23.33 the price comes back down and would touch the stop. Can you see what I see? I am using my mobile so cannot draw on it. This problem is what I found on all crossover systems I found so far.
Â
Just trying to understand.
Â
Would you guys RE enter after the hit? Why? Maybe on Skype this is easier. Also I would love to see exact examples. As in time and entry and time and exit. That is the only way I can use my charts to try to understand the System.
Hope I make sense
Â
Cheers

{quote} Hi Tehmac I don't blame you , I still get confused myself.... I do sometimes trade with the 35 on my chart but more and more I'm just trading with the 5 minute trend so just have the 175 lwma which is of course the 35lwma from the 5 minute chart... The theory you see is that you just need to find a strong trending 5 minute chart as designated by the slope of its 35lwma and then all you do is buy any oversold CCI signals in an uptrend or sell any overbought CCI's in a downtrend.... For a detailed explanation of my entry technique with...

ÂÂ
Oooook .. ÂÂI keep reading. ÂÂ Now on post 8500... started yesterday. ÂÂ
So the entry is not as clear as of thought and the exit a total mystery. I am not saying it does not work or anything. ÂÂJust logging my journey for other newbies to benefit as well.
For instance the problems I see with entry is that Clive talks about GETTING THE TREND right.....well if could do that even once a day and trade then I'd be such a good trader that I would be teaching others!
ÂÂ
Joking aside I understand that Clive uses ABCD logic which is supported by EW theory. I never got the EW right ÂÂI agree market moves in terms of waves. I can see how many can see the matrix but not me. Hence can we poor suckers tRade this system at all without this knowledge?
ÂÂ
I don't think EW can be taught at all. Have read them 100 times. Then when in live trade it is all blurry. I mean I can as easily draw an ABCD CDAB OR AnY cOMBINATION over somebody elses chart and it can't be argued since it is all about perspective. When ABCD is not clear people seem to force it into a chart which is not possible during live trading. It is a matter of luck or amazing brain ÂÂpower I lack
Â
Â
EDITÂ
Found this summary from Clive excellent
Â

  1. We find a strong trend using the TTindy on the 5 minute master
  2. Wait for our 35lwma to move in the same direction as the 5 min trend then take the first 2 CCI signals in the new move.
  3. Bank half when the price falters
  4. Bank the other half when the 35lwma changes colou

I love your story Clive. Very moving.

I'd private message you, however due to my status this is not available to me.

One thing I cannot get my head around is why you would want to share this information with people you don't know? I've been busy coding MQL4 for 2 years now. I've been a programmer since 1999 and got into Forex around 2 years ago. I can solve problems and whilst this seemed easy at first, I can without a doubt say this has been the toughest challenge of my life.

It's been very hard work and with that in mind... why did you freely share your system with others?
