Warning : The version of tristans trade manager posted on this thread earlier is flawed as when you drag and drop a symbol from market watch box to change the symbol it still takes trades from the original symbol it was on.

For example if you had a dax chart up and dragged and dropped the dow symbol on the chart to change it to dow, the trade manager will continue to place trades on the original dax chart. It will appear to do nothing when you hit a buy or sell button and not be placing trades. However it will be trading the dax chart and not the dow so opening dax trades without you being aware. Everytime you hit a buy or sell button it will place a new pending order on dax.

Please be warned that if you hit the buy or sell button and nothing appears to happen eg no trades appear on your chart then quickly check your account to make sure no other trades have been activated.

I enjoyed your video Clive. I notice you sometimes have trouble sticking to your plan though... you should never have taken the 7 pips when the target was 9.

But that's just me... I stick to the rules implicitly.... after all if it fails it's the systems fault and not yours. So no need to ever be hard on yourself. Create a new system that does not fail.

I also would struggle to sit and actually trade charts each day. I've tried it and it's time-consuming and for me a little like gambling. My system is fully automated and I would only look at the screen if I received an alert to inform me that I was in a trade without S&R to support it.... which is the danger zone.........

We are now back to the 'not possible' way of thinking.

I don't think you are rude. It's your opinion and you are fully entitled to it.

In fact I'm going to agree with you... I don't understand how everybody else is trading which was kind of my point from the start. I'm sure you all do really well and I have no doubt in that.

Things that work for some don't for others. No hard feelings. I just prefer a different approach.

Just done a video of me trading the London open on DAX but its not very exciting I'm afraid as only a 30 pip range for whole of the LO... never mind I came out with 0.5 pips profit which I'm pretty pleased with if I'm honest as it just didn't go any where this morning...

By the way Tristans Trade manager glitch has been resolved so all good to go again and have attached below, but as with all these EAs etc comes with the statuory warning of use it at own risk and fully test first before using on live account...

Great videos and very inspiring approach to daily trading. Im trying Tristans toy and finding it very useful to enter in 1 min. It would be perfect if we could choose the corner of display and an input box to change quickly the amount of the trade.

thanks I'm enjoying doing the videos but have chosen a couple of crappy days unfortunately..

You can drag the control panel around the screen wherever you want by clicking the little grey square just above its top left corner, will ask Tristan about the trade size input box too...

I was also watching Divergences videos on Nasdaq in your youtube Channel and cant figure out what entries are more precise to handle a pullback. You buy the last candle trying to catch de breakout of de point B and Divergence send a limit order in the opposite direction trying to "buy cheaper" but assuming the risk of a reversal. Both strategies seem very strong. To have a buy limit/sell limit option with SL and TP predefined (Divergences way) in Tristans board should be great. Thanks again for your videos.

I think you will find me and Divergence have precisely the same trading strategy in that we trade the pullback in a trend and try to catch the first one in the new trend.

I wouldn't call mine a breakout trade as that would be the break of point B.. Theres two ways to enter on a pullback trade either at point C (mine and Divergences preference) or break of point B , a breakout entry...as depicted below.

Sometimes by coincidence it may look like I'm breakout trading but I'm actually trading the pullback...

However although we both trade pullbacks, we have a different entry method in that Divergence is identifying where the last push started from (supply/demand piont) and placing a limit order there waiting for the pullback to come back to his limit order. However I identify the end of the pullback by the first colour candle back with the trend then place a buy or sellstop above/below that candle... Both entry techniques have their advantages whereas in Divergences he gets in way before me but quite often price doesn't go all the way back to his limit order. However even on a fairly small pullback , my entry of waiting for the first candle back with the trend does catch it...

As to which is the best entry well its Swings and roundabouts I guess..
