Please go back to page one. Read what the originator has shared with us.
Then come back to the last three pages or so. There you will find several posts which may answer your questions.
One om my last posts contains references to the setups and contains PDF attachements. Download them. Read them and learn from them.

To be honest, your question indicates you may not have taken the time to get familiar enough with the concepts of this thread.
First comes knowledge about yourself, then comes a system...

Just downloaded that app and set up the TDI they have. Its an hour behind uk time but it signalled the 70 odd pip drop in EUR/USD from 8 am GMT. I might try and use it to pick trades on my current demo account (which doesn't have the HA candles or the TDI but i like for the charting e.g. to get support and resistance areas)

Sanbernardin is that how the cellphone or tablet display the charts? If so you have my respect because I would have found it difficult to trade with such a small screen.

waited for price to close below the dol but took it before the close.The daily tdi has already made a cross a few days ago

Entry conditions Scalping - Long = Green over Red, Short = Red over Green Active - Long = Green over Red & Yellow lines Short = Red over Green & Yellow lines Moderate - Long = Green over Red, Yellow, & 50 lines Short= Red over Green, Green below Yellow & 50 line

Yes, I have an iphone 6, but Trade Interceptor application for mobiles is really very good. Obviously I do not have any commercial link with it.

You may be right. I read the Eefranz.pdf and I went through the thread around 1 week ago. Previously traded for a short while the Malone'E.A.S.Y. Method. I find TMI very consistent and releable but I still need to practice it more.

Good questions asked. The answer is not so simple for every trader has his/her own nature of course.
However, Eelfranz used to monitor 8 pairs. Monitoring too many pairs while not realy familiar with this system maybe not such a good idea.

Monitoring too few pairs however could cause you to miss great opportunities and thus getting impatient thinking the system may be not so interesting.
Therefore, while learning this, I would suggest to pick up some of the major pairs and maybe one cross for example, let's say 3 pairs to start with. I would prefer to test it on demo account or micro/mini account. The benefit of demo account would be, you cannot loose money. The disadvantage of it would be one would treat a demo account not serious enough. Therefore, a real account, be it micro or mini could help you to be more serious while taking trades. This however is something for you to decide.

So, learn the behaivures of those 3 chosen pairs. How do they react during trading houres (preferable London Session and start of NY session) Once you get a grip on those pairs, you could add some pairs but do not overload yourself

Definitely! I also see that it is useful, once you are in a trade, to check the short and long term trends and the major resistence/support levels and then adapt the tf/sl/tp to the most suitable scenario.

Tms works with any pair, indeed most any instrument. However, Tms works best in trending markets and wide range markets. Results are less desirable in narrow range markets. Therefore, the key is being able to recognize what market condition a pair is in. Only trade pairs that have favorable market types.

For H4 & D1 trading you will need more than 1 or 3 instrument to ensure enough opportunities. Personally i will only trade pairs for which i have completed a BPP. Initially i watched 6 pairs, then 10, now i track 12. I pick which pair to trade based on the market type, the PASR setup, and of course the information which the tdi provides.

I recommend you check all those things before you enter a trade. Obviously you can make adjustments as the trade progresses and the market decides what it wants to do.

Dear Nik-Nyc, thank you for your very helpful support. I think this method, if applied correctly, can really make your balance positive! I also noticed when you have a loss, most of the time it is a small one.
Do you think 80% of winning rate can be a realistic target?

It is certainly possible, and it becomes more realistic after a serious amount of time spent trading.

The great news is you can be wildly profitable with a much lower win rate. It's all about Money & Trade management, and as you have read before: keep your loses small, and let your winners run. To me, that means having the discipline to keep each lose a 1R maximum, and letting my winners run until the market gives me a reason to close the trade; could be a profit of 1R, 3R, 10R, 40R, or 0.25R. Money and Trade Management have a great impact on profitability, and profitability is ultimately more important than a win-rate.

Apart from the Method (tms), this thread contains great resources on the other two components of trading success: Mind & Money Management.

Can you explain more precisely the reasons why you took this winning trade as for me it was not a potentiel trade because it was taken toward DOL and moving average (which one is it ?) ?
