The USDJPY has had a good rally, lets see if it gets to the 117.00 level, which could act as resistance. To the downside, the most relevant support could be the 111.00 level.

Can I just ask - for the people who think uj will go to 118 or 120 - what do you think will fundamentally change to get it to that level? It's already had a monumental rise because of rate rise expectations, so what else do you think will happen after Fed?

Not saying you're wrong either - I just want to get an idea of what the reasons might be.

Im short since the last 12hours 115.15

But I dont believe in my short, its going to be a gamble... I will close my trade.

Bull trade is stronger, and tomorrow the FED ...

Ill wait 117 to short

I think it will just be a knee jerk reaction when the rate decision comes out. So up and then down very quickly. What might then make it go up again (not sure if can be sustained) will be Yellen. If Fed's plan is to have 4 hikes in 2017 (regardless of whether they can carry it out later on or not), I think UJ will go up.

If you talk Day trade. Within a day the range can be volatile 1000 pips. In the end, what really matters is the price at the end of the day.

Volatile is measured by sigma. But Today Price can be little change from Yesterday Price.

Traders call this SL hunting. Economists call this volatile index. Whatever it is. It doesn't really matter. What matters is the price at the end of the day.

I think there will be a drop too. However, I'd still rather wait for the news to come out than open positions now.

45 mins to the Fed announcement and glad to see price hasn't changed much since Monday close. The weekly and monthly candles are in tact and chances are those trends will continue.
