True, BigE did not have a candle closing beyond EMA rule for TMS. He did however have the rule during the development phase of TMS in the Craig Harris thread. He also did encourage newer traders to use it as "confirmation". I guess after 6,000hrs trading he no longer needed the ema, though he did leave it on his charts.
Personally, i prefer the EMA on H4 and above, and use the PAC on M15 and below. Maybe in 5,000 more hours i won't need it either :-)

As mentioned in an earlier post, I have been on the road for 3 or so weeks and although I continued to trade have not checked-in to this thread as much as I would have liked due to time, however, yesterday I read a lot and was happy to see the usual positive, informative posts but also noticed some posts that were negative in nature and disbelieving in their tone. 
I have enjoyed this thread because of its friendliness and willingness to share and help, and that creates a belief and even a trust in the system and its users. For example, to expect individuals to specifically reveal their P&L accounts is both rude and simply unnecessary ... study and follow the rules and over time you will make money. It's a bit like diets! (I mention this because I'm on a diet right now and need to loose weight). "Oh, I tried that diet and didn't loose a single pound!" ... how many times have we heard that. Every diet that has ever been invented works ONLY if you have the discipline to follow it. Simple. And that means no cream cakes or chocolate on Friday night because you have been a good boy all week ... that's the trade that looses and gives back half or all the profit you just made!
I think you get the drift so let's continue to care, share and learn and those who think this is BS then please go away.
Finally, I was in London 'The City' as a broker for over 30 years (left 6 years ago) and over that time had made and lost money trading but never really took it seriously as I assumed I knew what I was doing. Although I joined TMS some time ago it has only been in the last 6 months that I have truly focused on the system. I took the time to study it closely, read posts, pdf's and charts. Add a good measure of discipline and the results have taken care of themselves. My aim is to make a positive return every week and I can tell you that this is being achieved ... over the last 9 weeks, only one was -ve (-2.5%) and the rest have been +ve (between +1.5% to 31%, although the average is 6% to 9%). My biggest problem that I am still working on is when to exit the trade ... I am too often leaving too many pips on the table and closing too early, but I'm working on that; it's a fear thing.
Enough now, this post is already too long. Sorry. So, just wanted to confirm to veterans and inspire newbies that study, following the rules, money management, discipline and a clear head will get you there ... it's fun too.
Charge on and as they say here in France ... Bon Courage! ... Off to the gym now, ta ta.
